Same thing happened to me , I bought a music centre off eBay. It looked brilliant in the pictures. When the courier had finished with it , it looked like it came from the dump! I was pissed off big time. I waited nearly three weeks for it. The guy I bought it off said a women turned up with a car , saying it was to big! When I rang Hermes up they said my date had expired , I had to rebook it for when it was OK to get it collected. All that for Hermes to break it on route!

Yep......me too......We bought a 1960's vase in MINT condition, very rare and not cheap, and it was boxed TWICE with mountains of packaging......yet Hermes managed to smash the base off!!!!

i had this for xmas in 1984, it was known as the 3A05 then and it was pure DOGSHIT, put together by monkeys. the cassette deck came apart and mechanism kept stopping, one speaker didnt work, the arm would lift off 7'' records before record was finished, the lid had a crappy joint. and for 100 quid!!!!!!!!!!!??????????????????????
