Definitely. I love Notso and get some of his never wanting to name anyone or call anyone out but he does it to the point he’s just not keeping it real enough at some really critical moments. One thing not mentioned is the simple fact that craft does not survive hiring employees. You can have a ginormous family farm the does well. All have the same interests. Once you hire an employee that has a life besides working for the man (you), the care factor is what fails. No one cares as much about your SOP as you do.

Notsodog Gas is definitely on the spectrum of skunk but is more of a earthy fuel smell i agree. Gas is super hard to describe and i think there is even a spectrum of gas itself. I think OG, GMO, Bubba, breaths all have a different but similar gas smell.
We get same in uk on the east coast in october you get sea fog rolling in or apearing close to coastline. But its getting later in the year now around november erly.
Been going through some G13/Skunk from Mr Nice seeds the last few years. There is a wide array of gas. There is also Burt rubber, cheese, and some have a sweet aroma. Good line of old dank smells and uniform small Indica type plants
i always thought skunk created cheese, blueberry, and catpiss, and bubblegum. i thought there was something in the skunk genetics that rolled the dice and you could get lucky and get some crazy smell from a batch of skunk seeds. but maybe i was misinformed lol.
@@phat-kid not really, you are correct. I grew a lot of skunk #1 in the early 90’s. You found acrid plants, but you also found sweet, berry, and cheese. Cheese seems to be recessive trait in skunk. Skunk 1 back then would produce about 25% of plants with purple calaxes. You find berry in certain Afghans. Both skunk and blueberry have Afghan lineage.

That bud smelled like skunk but we did not call it that. We just called is sensi or sensimillia. I left the scene for 4 years and when I got back their was a strain they were calling skunk it was lime green and fluffy like pillows in a bag. It only came around Christmas time and would disappear after a couple of months. Then it was just gone. I have cultivars now that smell like skunk in the bag or when smoking but not a consistent 🦨 spray smell like back in the day. I'd love to talk about it but texting gets tedious 😂. I hope you dont assume i want a state controlled cannabis system, just that the lobbying of the state of California by real capitalists led to the destruction of your small scale economy. i used to love stella artois because it was always a bit skunky, or heinekin also because they are in those green bottles so they don't block the uv light and the lights from the beer coolers cause the flavor to go off and turn skunky, plus they ship them in trucks that aren't air conditioned. it complimented the sour d i was growing back then.
but back in the early 2ks i had access to all the best herb, and i also grew skunk and it was pure skunk smell and flavor. imo i think that was from mexican genetics. skunks have two smells. they have one that's more foul for keeping away predators, and they have another one that attracts mates that's a bit sweeter. the skunk weed was more of the sweeter smell.
Heineken is not skunky until left in the sun, and it barely skunks. You people are just making shit up out of thin air. There are only 3 thiols in weed that smell skunky.
