YES! It picks up so much! Unfortunately, it is all plastic and the roller staying on is most annoying. I did purchase a second. I received a full credit for my first one that literally melted at the corner of the roller and melted my bedspread to it. Sucked it right up! I had to cut out the "summer bedspread" It was thinner material and not flameproof. So, keep it away from anything when using the wand. But, for the price. I have never had a vacuum with a suction as strong as this one. & I have two huge long haired shepherds. This vacuum surpassed the Dyson Animal, by far with suction and pickup. And, I can still use my Dyson extended wands and animal attachment with the Bissell. Thank you for your review, Brian
We just got it and works amazingly on both types of floors, we have doggies, and wow what a difference in power. I would love to have the cord retractor but hey! is not a perfect world. Also, the hair picks up, which is great for furniture. I did use it with the Bissell pet pretreat + sanitize spray that penetrates to sanitize and loosen tough stains. Wow, I have never had such a great experience with a vacuum it's a joy to have it, I really do recommend it. Love the swivel along the edges of the walls.
I got this EXACT ONE off offer up the other day for a steal of a deal!!! Watching your wonderful video I decided to pull up, is letting me know why it was a steal of a deal.. There are several accessories missing! (Including the cord wrap) Lol. Seeing all those wonderful accessories you were pulling out of that box, are ones I I don't have but should since it's the exact same vacuum. But who cares, this thing was very new, it was only used only a couple of times for a demonstration, the previous owner said, and I believe it too!! This vacuum cleaner is amazing amazing amazing!!
Buddy this is not a criticism but emptying that bagless container is a breeze compared to the old school bagged vacuums when I was young. Those were a pain
I do like this as well. My carpet is old and the vacuum sucked up the carpet and put in shape. Cord is too long. And I almost cut the cord trying to get it out of the box the way it was wrapped. I agree with this evaluator.
Hey Brian, great video. I'm with you about the swivel feature; imo, they could've put a locking mechanism on it for those who aren't truly sold on the idea. Might want to mention that the top power cord bracket can rotate downward so it's quicker to unwrap the cord. Like you I also would like a cord retractor lol
Wait you do?? I was thinking about bringing this one back and getting the more expensive ($50) 2920 just because it has the hepa filtration and it's a sealed system. Do you notice much fine dust escaping? I think it would be hard to tell but I just like the idea of a sealed hepa system no? Also the cup lifts off which I think is handy. Any thoughts on these points? And what did you like about this one better? Was suction comparable? Thanks for any advice Janice!
@@cwatson42785 hi Chris Since I’ve had this vacuum for a year now. I have noticed dust around the bottom edges of the canister. I do take the canister apart and wash everything at least once a month. I use another vacuum to clean the parts I can’t wash. Since my daughter moved out with her two dogs I have a lot less dog hair on the floor. I haven’t seen the one with a HEPA filter. And for the cord I wish it was retractable.
@Janice Laswell The 2920 has the hepa filter. It's right below the canister. The 2260 doesnt have the hepa filtration which is why i decided to return it for the liftoff model. Maybe you need to check that, might be why your seeing a little dust. I was going to go with the one in this video that isn't the lift off model but after talking to a vacuum reviewer he told me the 2920 (liftoff) model is a much better vacuum. Thanks for the reply Janice!
I definitely like the color and price! It seems that most newer products have been scaled down due to space constraints. I don't really like the swivel feature either.... Bailey💜
As a flooring guy and familiar with carpets that is just loose fibers that his old vac most likely didn't have the power to suck the embedded lose fibers

The "swivel" on the vacuum is for sharp turns and corners, its useful for thoes perfect lines on thoes turns.

I just bought this model last Monday and vacuumed my bedroom and boy was it crazy how much dander it picked up. Lol.

Thank you so much for explaining all the details of this vacuum.
When you get it out of the box, it just has a plain filter, it says in the directions you have to put the Febreeze filter in that's in the package.

I have the blue cleanview variant pretty much the same machine works great for a budget machine.

What is the purple knob at the top of the swivel? It’s not in the book.
My big flat head screwdriver is called a butter knife. 😂
Can you buy a longer wand
Hi Brian love all your channels. I'm from UK
Brain, Shelby, have great weekend😊
About the last wrap thing....Start from a different point!....Duh! 😉🤣
What did you replace this vacuum with?
Oh this is a nice one and great price too!
How is the hair in the brush? I had the one with the tangle free brush. Im wondering how this one works
big fan of your channel
I just got the Bissell 2920. I like the features on this vacuum better.

@@cwatson42785 Good to know. One of my must haves is side to side suction. If the vacuum doesn’t have that feature then I won’t buy it.
@@janicelaswell361 What is side to side suction?
This is great. I'm actually looking for a new vacuum and scrubber. Are you going to unbox the rug scrubber too? You've sold me on the vacuum!
Definitely! I’ll have that video up in the next few days! I love the shampooer even more!
Wash the filter when it loses smell and gets dirty/ rinse in the sink with some fabric softener , and let it air dry!
I rinse mine off, let dry and then spray/soak with febreeze and let dry 👍🏻😉
Smell it?

Wrap the hose the opposite way.
It might not feel like it, but you might be giving the carpet a hair cut. lol Look at the pick up in your canister closely.

Not bad for 100 bucks 👍
My vacuum has a loud whistling sound also. I dont like that
It's kinda poopy that the brush roll just keeps on spinning... and you can't even turn it off! I would call that an epic fail.
thx
