The only thing I kept thinking at the end of the video was that the Golden horde were equipped with shovels and poles and not sure what else, but the bad guys had freaking machine guns, for Pete’s sake! It would have been a massacre.

This is the delema I'm in right now. At the beginning of lockdown(mar 2020)I found DIMASH. I also got addicted to a Chinese soap. It's only one season (33 episodes) and it ends with the girl getting engaged. So where's part 2? I want to see the wedding, I want to see their babies. I was just cut off. And it was in 2014, so I'm pretty sure there will not be any more. I'm so sad. As for Dimash, I believe he rescued the girl, shared the money with his army of Dears and drove off into the smog filled sunset.
I felt exactly the same about the ending when I watched this for the first time! but as I watched it again and again, I got his message of unity and now feel maybe it’s good to end like this. I was so excited when you restarted the video! 👍
Dimash never creates anything without having a message and a meaning. Good vs Evil, United we can overcome the bad in the world. He streams into the hall with all his helpers, and everyone outside comes along. How will that end? Against this overwhelming number of good helpers, the men with the weapons have no chance. Of course the girl was released. Dimash manages to bring together a whole army of the good. We Dears are his Army of love.
How did it end??? That's what we fans (he calls us his Dears because we are dear to him like his family members) want to know too as we definitely want MORE!! The 2 main points--good will always win out over evil and there is strength in numbers if your mission is true, then others will join you. Another example of his ability to capture and keep your attention, whether you like it or not!

Not at all, follow the symbolisms. Criminals can have people surveilled? Who are this bad peoples? The end tells you that they can not kill you if everybody came together to confront them. We do not need guns, THEY can not do anything to you if you are strong and not alone. If you watch it again listening to the lyrics and looking for the signs, you will understand.
I had to watch the short movie few times to catch all the details. Have you noticed the crow was a robotic bird or a bio-robotic bird and it had a connection with the eye of the red eyed gangster?

The ending of the MV is what I have the biggest problem with, as an editor. The final chorus comes in as the villain cocks his gun, leading the viewer to anticipate combat and action...but then we don't get that. There's no real payoff. It lacks closure. The message of the video (good always wins) is nice, but from a storytelling perspective, the MV leaves a lot to be desired.
