14 was an affectionate character. In the novel, he kept the hairpin that Ruoxi used to pin her horse when she was racing, even though Ruoxi didn't want it, which was not shown in the drama😭😭😭
The 14th prince & Ruoxi would make a formidable couple. In my ideal world, 14th prince would become the Emperor with Ruoxi by his side. Their story is beautiful 💗💗
my 14th prince is my favorite character in this drama. he is willing go to war to make merit and he won it. then he asks decree of marriage from the king to married rouxi and the king granted it. but rouxi didn't want to marry him. after her lover ascend the throne, rouxi can't be queen (i kinda forgot about the reason). i remember she get miscarriage but she glad cause she didn't want a child to grow up in toxic environment like in forbidden city. she fed up and wanna be free. so, she asked help from 14th prince. then 14th prince enters the palace to meet the current king (rouxi's lover). he asks the king to let him marry rouxi with the decree of marriage from the former king. thats its valid reason, the king agrees and rouxi get out from the palace. she spent the rest of her life in 14th prince's palace. she misses the king and send the letter but don't get reply cause the envelop she uses. the 14th prince sees the letter but change it with his envelop so the letter will arrive to the king (cmiiw). sadly, the king doesn't open it after he see it from 14th prince, and he regret it later.

And he became one of the chinese emperor who had most strong leadership in chinese history or at least in Qing Dynasty. 🙏 Well, I wish 14th prince and maertai ruoxi would finally be in romantic relationship. But it didnt happen. 14th prince is the only one gave Ruoxi unconditional love.

@@99leen44 the korean version， is actually sort of adapted from this bubujingxin (chinese version) storyline。therefore，this story didnt happened in korea， maybe that is the reason we cant find related history regarding korean 14th prince。 regarding chinese 14th prince， yes they do have the history information， but not very detail。 it is understable since history would more likely to record the king and his further decents rather than the kings brother/sisters。 i think it is the same everywhere in the world? like， it is easier to find the history record of queen elizabeth II and her decendents rather than princess margareth and her decendents right?☺🙏
Yes.. this is the original.. but this drama also adapted from the novel.. n for Chinese version, there's season 2 but not based on novel if I'm not mistake.. n the main lead also married couples in real life

@@mamasprincess1024 i think if u want more details about scarlet heart i recommend u to watch it.. just the eps is a lot.. ermm i always watch kdrama if history genre.. so i suggest Goblin, The crowned clown, hotel de luna, moon embracing moon, the rebel:hong gil dong (have 2 same title, i recommend that's have choi soo bin as female lead , love in the moonlight, saimdang, queens 7 days.. finish all this first, then i will recommend the other XD

syu jay Actually no, he will not kill them because he promised roxi that he will punish them in different ways because of what they did but he will never execute them but then when roxi died the 13th prince went to the princes who were in jail and give them poison then I believe the 8th prince died outside the palace(this is all according to the tv series) but I read that I true history where the girl did not really exist, he really ordered them to be kill( correct me if I'm mistaken)

I've watched both and I personally like this one better. The actors and camera works in the Korean version is better looking though considering it's newer than this. It follows the real history more accurately too

Kimberly Contreras I watched them both too. And even though i really love Lee Joongi, I'm sure I prefer Chinese version over Korean one. I watched the original the first time in 2013 and have watched at least 3 times again since then but I never want to rewatch Korean version sadly >"< Liu Shishi, Lin Gengxin, Yuan Hong and the girl acting Princess Minmin, I love them all and I'm never going to forget them. Other Chinese princes were older than in Korean version but they all used to look very good when they were much younger, and more importantly their acting skills were amazing (Only Joongi in Korean version can compete, and I definitely like his Wang So more than Yong Zheng).

Many of us have watched the korean version but lets be honest & give credit to the original which was also a mega hit at that time .
Honestly I didn’t like the Korean version…. They didn’t make much sense to me beside coving up a copy of the original. I like the Chinese one better
