In fact, few LOVEBITES songs have solo parts for bass or drums. THE HAMMER OF WRATH" is one of those few songs.
This song was chosen as the opening song for their first revival concert in two years because it was also the first performance by their new bassist FAMI.
Thanks for continuing with Lovebites. This was their first song of their first set after more than two years without live performances. Japanese metal is on an incredible roll, especially the women, who are kicking ass on an epic scale. Another great band you should check out, if you haven’t already, is Bridear. Founded in 2011, they were in the second wave of all-female heavy-metal bands. They have the classic twin-lead attack and technical rhythm section. Their tiny bassist even growls at key moments.
They’re scheduled to release their new album “Born Again” on June 28, and it’s a banger. They have gone through some changes but have always kept their hard, heavy, technical sound. They just posted a video single from the album: “Still Burning” th-cam.com/video/v7UOTBAtJh0/w-d-xo.html

Midori is the blonde, looks really fit lead guitarist at stage right; and Miyako is the brunette lead guitarist/pianist at stage left. All 4 of their LPs are extremely good in their own unique ways, and "Judgement Day" is their latest album.
This concert is the 'come back' after they went on hiatus due to Miho (former bass) leaving and Miyako and Asami having babies. This is the opening song of the concert and the very first time on stage in front of an audience with Lovebites for new girl Fami.
I know you have spotted your mix up with the names, but just to refresh 😄

Another thing maybe worth saying about Midori and Miyako that you may not have spotted. Midori uses a Kemper Profiler, whereas Miyako is old school analogue in her gear set up. She likes to use a Wah Wah pedal on some of the solos and her pedal board is huge compared to Midori's. Different approaches, yet they are able to compliment each other so well.
A demonstration of there being no right or wrong way to do it, if it's what works for you, use it.

As far as getting their music and which one/ones to get, I’d recommend getting as many of them as you can. Every one of them has its own uniqueness to it. Plus, gotta collect the alphabet ;)

Funny you say that Fami shines, her nickname, from the other members is Shining Fingers.
I really miss Miho, great as Fami is. For Miho, I recommend Thunder Vengeance th-cam.com/video/yWE7PqCpGi4/w-d-xo.html (she wrote it, and she is up front towards the end singing it, off mic). Amazing song and one of my favorites of theirs. Another would be Break the Wall th-cam.com/video/5Pc0XK0lNmU/w-d-xo.html A favorite of mine as well. In this one, there's a break down where you can hear her alone and her bass tone. Both songs you get to see her distinctive headbanging. I miss Miho Fami, on the other hand, fits right in and has an infectious smile. Both amazing bassists.
