Palmer House Hotel - Chicago’s Fantastic Historic Hotel + Italian Village Restaurant

I stayed at the historic Palmer House Hilton Hotel in Chicago, Illinois. This is perhaps the most beautiful and storied hotel in the great city of Chicago, located right in the Loop (technically alongside Route 66.) In this video, we explore the fantastic lobby, ornate ballrooms (including the Empire Room,) and also explore a bit nearby. I also visited Marc Chagall's "Four Seasons" installation across the street and a historic 1920s restaurant called the Italian Village.

My grandmother’s retirement party was held at the Palmer house in a small room, but the food was excellent and the room was actually beautiful

It sure is, I recommend stopping in next time you visit Chicago. A lot of the ballrooms I showed are generally left open if not in use.

I work pretty close to the Italian Village in the red building but way before that my parents took me to the Italian Village since I was eight. I always get spaghetti, but is was always perfect. I’m gonna order anything else then one day I ordered a pizza to go and I was kicking myself cause I could have order pizza along time ago The pizza was actually perfect as well and I wish I tried more stuff but every time I come down I’ll always go here if I can.

@@hoosiertours yes I would recommend it. I live in Florida now I tried a fence your Italian restaurant but it wasn't that good but I got my Italian fixed for a little bit

In my opinion and preference, this was and it the epitome of classic luxury. I don’t like decorations that are all in beige, gray, and white too boring for me.
