- This is a tutorial video on how to bypass iCloud untethered with change serial number
Please note that only A10 and beyond can change serial number without any DCSD cable

Works man thank you. I was able to use two iphones again instead of it just being e-waste lol. For those having problems in purple mode even though your iphone model doesn't need dcsd cable, try changing usb ports. On mine it doesn't work on a usb 3.0 port, needs to be 2.0. Also in the purple mode, you might encounter a problem where your pc doesn't detect in when its time to change serial number. Uninstall the driver in the device manager. On mine it is initially detected as a comport but windows keeps updating it so it becomes detected as apple mobile device. You can also still sign in on an apple account on this one.

Try back of your PC as it is closer to the pC motherboard
And the software quite finicky

i don't have the diag cdc serial driver under the ports tab so it does not show on the menu when i try to chose a port for changing the serial nuber (by the i am using a usb c adapter to connect my phone to the pc idk if that's the problem?)
Only for a10 devices the serial driver appear like iPhone 7/7 Plus and beyond
Otherwise get DCSD cable

Is there anyway to easy flash my device without upgrading my ios version? I currently have a ipad 6th gen with ios 16.1.1 and I am using the jailbreak method to bypass the hello screen but cause of the jailbreak i haven't been able to use some apps/games so I wanna change my SN instead but I am kinda scared that if I easy flash my device and upgrade ios to 17.6.1 and the SN method doesn't work then I won't even have the option to use the jailbreak method since there is no jailbreak for ios 17.6.1.
