Great show guys. I, for one, don’t feel any pressure this season. Like you said, there’s insurance this season and Michkov looks great so far. His situation reminds me of Giroux’s early career. Giroux’s skill was on another level compared to his teammates and it took time for the team to adjust to the talent. G would be open when teammates didn’t expect and he would make tremendous passes that teammates just couldn’t anticipate him being able to make. This stuff works itself out. The plus in Michkov’s case is that Michkov is still scoring regardless. I see big big things for him if he can develop more chemistry with the rest of the team.
I totally agree with your line changes, makes sense. Just want to see these young players grow, couldn’t care less abou t the playoffs this year. Be competitive at least. Also, can’t they devise a plan to free up Foerster to get his wicket shot off?
Great show again guys, omg, i was thinking exactly that , kolosov is a mix of(quick-saros-and bob) the way he covers that lower part of the net, cruch down low. i think fed's should go in the AHL , play every game , brake those old habits. And by X-mass he should be up to par,
Great show I listen to you guys every week. As always I appreciate the non-sensationalized analysis of the Flyers. Interesting stats too. . . I have something I've been wondering about: Like you I am excited to see how the prospects and young players develop. Sooner or later however we are gonna need to trade away some of the young players. My question is this: Is it better to trade a player when they are still an unknown, or wait and take a chance they don't progress at all? For example - We have Bobby Brink who seems like he could be a good NHL player BUT so does Toumaala and Barkey. I'm thinking at least one of these players needs to go since in my mind they all bring similar traits (size) to the table. Is their trade value higher to other teams as an "unknown" or would they become more valuable as their potential materializes? (trading away Bobrovsky still kills me). . . Maybe there is a world where they all end up being an NHL player and we keep them all, but I gotta think that is unlikely . . . I'll be listening to see if you ever address this situation in future episodes. (No Pressure - But it might be an interesting topic)
The flyers look disjointed alot of the time out of position trying to force play alot leading to lots of breakaways and the loosing alot of board battles The good news is that when they are clicking and the passes are on the tape they look fantastic and definitely have the skill to be great Most notable players right now are Drysdale making lots of movement on the point Michkov floating in screened shots from the point And Tippett looking like nate mikkinnen but cant hit the net I swear Tippett is so frustrating hes so dominant but cant hit

It’s interesting for sure. We will talk about it for next week’s show.

I se3 michov finishing season with 95 points
Hes gpinh to hace a gane where he goes off has that 5 point game
Flyers neef 6'5 center and 6'5 defenseman in draft who can skate play big minutes
Loosing back to baxk is no excuse
I grew up watching flyers wins these baxk to back
No excuses
