#2 really related. Things clicked in my brain and confirmed what I was sensing. At one point I kind of got it out of him that he didn't want an instant serious relationship but did want to date and let it grow. He kept pulling away and coming close and acting like he only wanted FBB so it was confusing as hell. Any talk of meeting up got trashed by his behavior and I finally told him I was trying to give things the best chance I could but I didn't see the same in response. He didn't respond for a week and during that time I realized we weren't on the same page for even starting things so I just let him know I was stepping back because we weren't on the same page and that we could be friends at this time if he wanted. The door is left open that crack and no resolution that way. I just felt it wasn't good to blow up the world and get so made and controlling with it. I used to do that

Pile 3 She is my TF and we’ve known for over year after a reconnect from before COVID we worked together and were good friends, but she was in a bad marriage at the time. We have both gone through a lot in our lives and we have both pretty much lost everything. She did put me on the path for my life purpose and I am close to finishing a major project that should see publication by the beginning of next year. But we have been in this perpetual runner chaser dynamic for a year and I walked away for a month in Aug. we have since reconciled the situationship, but I have been blunt in my unwillingness to pursue things any longer because she keeps having excuses as to why she can’t commit. So I detached and put up more of a distance that healthy friendship boundaries should be instead of someone who is wanting more.
