    Yes, our fearless leader, I knew you would figure out this not so intuitive process. This is why we all love your teaching. Your on the fly, coupled with your stream of consciousness style, is just what we need. The REAL experience LIVE! I doubt I would ever think to go back and keep curing it. Bold, and so smart. Gracias!

    Thank you for the tutorial. It seems Patience is the key with all the cure times, but that you do get a working stamp in the end. Nice. Might be fun to make a custom stamp for the backs of one's cards. Thanks again! (I love your foam trick you've mentioned; I've used it a couple times, and so neat!)

    Thank you for showing us this. You got kinda nervous a couple of times, I would be a mess!! I'm not sure if I want to try this or not. I think I will re-watch this a couple of times, a think about it. Some of these things, tools, machines, like this do seem gimmicky, like the binding machine, too. I really love that you test everything out for folks!!! Thank you!!

      @@VianneyCreates I asked and it's heat press vinyl. The vinyl is very flimsy but I guess the plastic sheet must have something to adhere it.

    Just an fyi - in regards to washing items in the sink and worrying about plastics getting into the water supply - I use a big fine mesh colander (or use cheesecloth) in my "slop sink" in the laundry room and it catches alot of the plastics, glitters, etc and I toss that out in the garbage so it doesn't go down the drain. Works for me - thought I would share.

    I like your stamps, Vianney. It's really great that you can create more than one stamp at a time. I guess whatever fits can become a stamp. At least you would feel like you're getting your money's worth out of each one.
    I wonder if your stamped image would look clearer if you inked it up again...since that's what we would normally do if we're using a stamp platform. Just a thought.

    Thanks for your review! I have a Mint and have made a couple of very small stamps. It's ok, but not great. This one is more substantial and you can get a more commercial looking stamp. But it's not exactly quick and the process seems a bit fumbly. I did watch the HSN demo. Let's just say, I'm not gonna order one right away. I would like to create some custom stamps that are really more pro looking. I'm gonna do some research to see what else may be out there...that would also likely cost a lot more than this. WRMK American Crafts, like someone said, is "hit or miss." Remember that piece of junk typewriter they brought out about 5 or 6 years ago?

  • @cynthia_m

    For the bottom plate for the uv light, is that blue film or is it attached? What I mean is, were you supposed to take the blue film off like a nail lamp to expose the shiny mirror like finish? Maybe that’s why the stickiness happened?

    • @VianneyCreates
      @VianneyCreates  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you! I didn’t actually check that but that wouldn’t account for the stickiness. It’s going to be sticky anyway because that’s what photopolymer does… Before I cured it it was not sticky at all and then you go to cure it and wash away the excess and that’s where that dispersion layer comes in. It’s kind of like when you’re doing gel nails, obviously that’s a liquid type thing, but it leaves a stickiness that you have to remove. It’s just something that happens in the process. Removing that covering might reflect more light, but I don’t know that it mattered because of the way that little plastic case is designed… The light won’t hit it initially anyway. I hope that makes sense. TY!
