Getting others to do the work for them and claim they are better than you. In the business world that approach even is called smart. Make a check of the businesses in your town. Quite a lot of them rely on the expertise of one or two employees which can attest to the owner never even bothering to learn. That is far more common than you'd think. Especially in big corporations (higher management rarely has more than basic understanding of their own products), but those often have redundancies in place i.e. are "too big to fail". Despite the story being made up it is a lot closer to reality than one might think and it is likely many deem it plausible.
