I really think that when eclipse touched that blue orb he got posesed or is remembering how he was transfired into a Animatronic so now he keeps having flash backes to what happend and how his life used to be before he was changed. I also think that something happend to him so that he was going to die but they saved him by putting his body in a Animatronic so he would stay alive. That's why he is having flash backs.
