I dont understand how this works. What is meant by upside capture. I see NASDAQ moved by 12% but this fund moved by 2%. What doe this even mean? If what they are saying is true this fund should also move 10% and stay there. Is my understanding correct?
No. You max at around 9% even if the market is much higher after a year or you can lose nothing if the market is lower after a year...............or just end up somewhere in the middle.
@@bsaver5942 they have a graph on their calamos website which shows, NASDAQ moved 12% since the launch of fund in June yet their fund gave only 2% return. What does this even mean? Does this mean NASDAQ has to give 100% return for this ETF to give me 10% return because I am afraid NASDAQ can go down and this fund stays at 0% at that time? If I am this scared why would I not put it in Treasury bonds and be happy with 2-3% returns every year?
