When I was 19 I went to Romania to visit family that I had not seen since I was 7 while I was there I decided to take a nice bike ride around the area to get to know my way around the area when i discovered Hoia-Baciu woods my aunt told me not to go into the woods b/c it was and I quote "a playground for demons" I never believed in ghost or demons etc, so I decided I would see what the woods were like so I could go and sneak a smoke & perhaps a beer later I never saw no weird looking trees like in the video but after 15 mins of riding I reached a muddy area of the trail when I got a uneasy feeling as though I was being watched so I turned around with the intent to ride home I got about 12 feet from the mud when I heard a voice but I couldnt understand what it said so I stopped & was looking around for the person and didnt see nobody so i started to get going again when I was pushed off the bike and then something grabbed my jacket and started dragging me while i had a death grip on the bike it I looked up to see who had me but nobody was there it dragged me the 12 feet back & into the mud before releasing me I hopped on the bike and hauled ass back to my aunts crying. I never returned to the woods or to Romania ever again I told my aunt & parents what happened & the only 1 who believed me was my aunt. I tried to tell friends back home but they thought I was joking This is the 1st time in 8 years I have ever spoken of it seeing the video made me remember it all like it only happened a few hours ago. This is not no creepypasta crap this really happened to me

People fear the unknown/paranormal until they have experienced it themselves. So don't fault them too much, I believe you. What would you have to gain by making something like that up? Especially Hoia Baciu forest, that place is evil or at least unnatural, it's also one of the most actively paranormal places in the world, with all the well documented cases and and probably thousands more of undocumented encounters, there's simply too much evidence proving otherwise about that place.
You know, I don't normally comment on videos, on the "big boy" channels, or about my paranormal love and experiences, but as someone that's grown up in the middle of nowhere in Oregon, I can attest to the very real anxiety and paranoia a forest can cause someone. Where I grew up, I literally was on the edge of the wilderness, at all times, and I even lived on a 100 acre farm in the wild; I grew up learning how to navigate, hunt, identify plants, look for signs of game, and pick mushrooms. Obviously, not many of us lived out where I grew up, and we as kids all had our stories to tell about the woods, and we always tried to one-up each other in terms of scare-factor, but, the older we got, the more we stopped talking about the mountain men, green mists, and other sorts of bullshit we'd come up with to pass stories on the long bus rides through the backwoods. My dad always was, and still is, a skeptic to the paranormal or superstitious side, but I can always recall one of my favorite moments of him breaking that guard down. I was 17, nearly out of high school, and he wanted to go mushroom picking, because it had just stopped raining recently. I agreed to go, and we went to an area where we used to go deer hunting, because it was close, and we both knew that area fairly well; the area was on the side of a road, with both sides of the forest being clearly accessible on each side, but the one we'd used for years for deer hunting was too steep, and the mud and loose rock made us have second thoughts, so, we decided to take the other side of the road. Those that don't know what Oregon's forests look like, I suggest you do a quick check to get an idea of what I'm talking about, and just imagine this at mid-day, with slight fog - not a lot, but just enough to give a strange feeling, right off the bat. Now, me and my dad both have rifles - this isn't an American thing, this is a forest safety thing you learn to take into account because of predators, both people and animals - and food, so we're fairly certain this is going to be a stroll, since this was VERY early into mushroom season, and we expected to get lucky, very early, and had that slight glimmer of hope going into the brush. Me and him never really talked a whole lot when we walked about, mainly because you want to hear game, make sure you're not encroaching on someone, or whatever, so, we're literally just walking into this thicket, and the more we keep going, the more and more uneasy we're starting to get; we're both familiar with the outdoors, keep in mind, and this is mid-day, not even dark, but it's DEAD silent. Anyone that's walked a forest knows this feeling, but, this was just... complete unease. My dad occasionally just keeps stopping to say some bullshit, and I can hear it in his voice, he's pretty nervous, and doesn't want to bring it up. We're also not finding any mushrooms, either, so we're starting to get disheartened, as we'd been walking for at least ten or so minutes. I remember this very clearly, too, because it still makes my skin crawl, every time I think of this: we'd walked a good bit further, to this large slant, where it just went straight into thick brush on the top of it, and like I said, it was kind of moist, so we didn't want to take any chances and risk hurting ourselves or loosening up any rocks. We stopped, right near the incline, and it was still just... dead... nothing... no birds... no wind... no bugs... nothing. I could feel the hair on my neck stand up, I could see my dad visibly look paranoid, and he had his hand on his rifle with white knuckles, and we just stood there, for at least a minute; I've never in my life, in all my times hunting, in all my times gathering mushrooms, in all my times camping, EVER felt that sensation, or the feeling of being completely followed and watched, but you're able to see damn-near everything around you. There wasn't a man-made trail, we'd just hiked straight, but, no game signs, no droppings, no rubs from deer or elk... it just... it was off, and for the first time in my life, I heard my dad say "We need to turn around... now..." and without hesitation, we started back. That feeling never wavered or lightened up with each step back, trust me, and I swear, I'd never been in an area of the forest that was that... unnerving... I don't think I took the clip out of my rifle until we were near our house, it made me that uneasy, and my dad was beyond shaken up, and didn't want to admit it. Whether it was sacred land of the ancient people that once lived there, a murder spot, a person stalking us, or just bad weather, it really marks a memory where I know we were both at a loss for words for what to feel or think - just to leave, even with a weapon in hand, and supplies on the back. Hope it was a good read, because I enjoyed sharing the experience; it's not like I care if someone believes me or not, it's just an event that happened, and I felt was appropriate to the comments below. :)

I don't believe in paranormal things, or anything that has zero evidence for it, but from personal experience, being alone in the woods is both a peaceful and an eerie experience even in the middle of a bright, sunny day. I think it's the feel of isolation.
I live in Romania. I've been on a trip with some people to Cluj Napoca just the other week. The funny thing is I wanted to visit the forest since I've heard so many things about it, and I tried four times in a row to get to that forest but each time something happened on the way to the forest. It was aery. First day, we had the GPS set to get there but just before getting closer, the signal was completely cut off so we had to go back and try again the following day. Now this time, we asked for directions and the villagers were playing with us. They all showed the way differently and some said they don't want to tell us because it would led us into great danger. So we though ok. Tomorrow we will come back for the third time with a paper map and find the way ourselves. And we did so, but we couldn't get any closer because over night it rained a lot and the paths were too muddy to be traveled. So our last attempt was on the fourth day, and we actually found someone who regularly went with tourists into the forest and he promised he will take us to the clearing (where the circle with no vegetation was) and set a meeting point at 10 AM. And we got there around 9:30 AM and we waited. And waited. And he didn't show up for the next 2 hours and we decided to give up. (We tried to call him to ask what happened once we reached a zone with signal but he's phone was dead). Some of us thought that maybe it was meant to be... Like some sort of warning or sign. Maybe it is better this way, maybe there really is something dark in the forest. Who knows...
...went with tourists all the way to the clearing (where the circle with no vegetation is). And we set a meeting point at 10 AM. We got there early, around 9:30. And we waited for him to come. And waited. And nothing. After 2 hours of waiting we left. We tried to call him but his phone was dead. Some of us thought it was a waring or some sort of sign keeping us away for the danger that was hidden in the forest. Who knows.
Yeah I get you. Many people tend to say they are not too 'fond' of romanians... But you know, it depends. If you ask me, it depends who you get to interact with. There are indeed some kind of people you don't want to mess with (gipsies for example), but then again, there are also many amazing and worthy people in Romania. It's up to who you meet and who you get to know.

However saying that I would be scared in many of the places just by the preconceived notion something is going to happen. I think our minds are great at manufacturing things to scare us. I've experienced something I believe is paranormal. I was at the beach with my family. I had binoculars with me because my mom had brought them. I looked through at the ocean. I saw a HUGE plane. It looked like a cargo plane from what I can remember.... Not some normal everyday plane I can tell you that, it was brownish too. Heading in our direction. I looked away for a second and a half at most, to tell my mom "Look at the plane mom!" because something about it was odd to me. I looked back and it was gone. It completely vanished. At the same time my mom said "What plane?". It was low enough it couldn't have disappear from the clouds. I always thought it was weird. Now when I think about it, it gives me chills.

You're a brave man. One of my pastimes is walking through the woods and snapping pictures. I've captured weird things like faces and a mega orb. I enjoy the silence and calm but always have an uneasy feeling that something is watching me. I wouldn't do it at night though. European folklore has always said that woods are hotbeds of spiritual activity. I heard the most powerful spirit (Ouija) board you can make is one on a stump of a freshly sawed tree.
I visited Aokigahara recently and it was definitely odd. No noise. Not a sound which makes it super creepy. I went with 2 friends who wernt interested. We were there to climb mt fuji later in the evening. While there we took a regular path. Before we started there was a tour group of about 10 older people going the opposite way. We went around the corner and all noise just stopped. Its the oddest sensation. As were walking our mate started telling us some very personal things that shes experienced in regards to her depression and what not. At this moment my guy friend was pulled backwards and landed on his backside. He whipped around and shouted hey and when he noticed there was no one behind him he freaked. He said a women whispered to him before pulling him back and he thought it was someone from the tour group. I was standing right next to him and heard nothing though. so either it was his mind playing tricks or what not. Later that day as we left we met a guy who had stayed at them same hostel we had swapped numbers. he went off path and sent me photos sometime later of a dead body being taken out on a stretcher. Strange to think when we were in there there was already one dead body definitely.
If I remember correctly the reason why Aokigahara is such a popular suicide spot is because of a fictional story published in the 60s that featured a character (or maybe a couple in love?) committing suicide there. After that Aokigahara became the "hip" place for suicidal people to die and the legend just grew from there.

I don't believe in paranormal things, or anything that has zero evidence for it, but from personal experience, being alone in the woods is both a peaceful and an eerie experience even in the middle of a bright, sunny day. I think it's the feel of isolation.

I live in Romania. I've been on a trip with some people to Cluj Napoca just the other week. The funny thing is I wanted to visit the forest since I've heard so many things about it, and I tried four times in a row to get to that forest but each time something happened on the way to the forest. It was aery. First day, we had the GPS set to get there but just before getting closer, the signal was completely cut off so we had to go back and try again the following day. Now this time, we asked for directions and the villagers were playing with us. They all showed the way differently and some said they don't want to tell us because it would led us into great danger. So we though ok. Tomorrow we will come back for the third time with a paper map and find the way ourselves. And we did so, but we couldn't get any closer because over night it rained a lot and the paths were too muddy to be traveled. So our last attempt was on the fourth day, and we actually found someone who regularly went with tourists into the forest and he promised he will take us to the clearing (where the circle with no vegetation was) and set a meeting point at 10 AM. And we got there around 9:30 AM and we waited. And waited. And he didn't show up for the next 2 hours and we decided to give up. (We tried to call him to ask what happened once we reached a zone with signal but he's phone was dead). Some of us thought that maybe it was meant to be... Like some sort of warning or sign. Maybe it is better this way, maybe there really is something dark in the forest. Who knows...

And waited. And nothing. After 2 hours of waiting we left. We tried to call him but his phone was dead. I've experienced something I believe is paranormal. I was at the beach with my family. I had binoculars with me because my mom had brought them. I looked through at the ocean. I saw a HUGE plane. It looked like a cargo plane from what I can remember.... Not some normal everyday plane I can tell you that, it was brownish too. Heading in our direction. I looked away for a second and a half at most, to tell my mom "Look at the plane mom!" because something about it was odd to me. I looked back and it was gone. It completely vanished. At the same time my mom said "What plane?". It was low enough it couldn't have disappear from the clouds. I always thought it was weird. Now when I think about it, it gives me chills.

There's a cemetery near where I live and I was walking my dog this one day around 9pm and my dog just stopped and stared at this one grave stone and started barking and the hairs on the back of her neck stood up...

You're a brave man. One of my pastimes is walking through the woods and snapping pictures. I've captured weird things like faces and a mega orb. I enjoy the silence and calm but always have an uneasy feeling that something is watching me. I wouldn't do it at night though. European folklore has always said that woods are hotbeds of spiritual activity. I heard the most powerful spirit (Ouija) board you can make is one on a stump of a freshly sawed tree.

I visited Aokigahara recently and it was definitely odd. No noise. Not a sound which makes it super creepy. I went with 2 friends who wernt interested. We were there to climb mt fuji later in the evening. While there we took a regular path. Before we started there was a tour group of about 10 older people going the opposite way. We went around the corner and all noise just stopped. Its the oddest sensation. As were walking our mate started telling us some very personal things that shes experienced in regards to her depression and what not. At this moment my guy friend was pulled backwards and landed on his backside. He whipped around and shouted hey and when he noticed there was no one behind him he freaked. He said a women whispered to him before pulling him back and he thought it was someone from the tour group. I was standing right next to him and heard nothing though. so either it was his mind playing tricks or what not. Later that day as we left we met a guy who had stayed at them same hostel we had swapped numbers. he went off path and sent me photos sometime later of a dead body being taken out on a stretcher. Strange to think when we were in there there was already one dead body definitely.

Let's be honest, which forest isn't haunted at night?
If I remember correctly the reason why Aokigahara is such a popular suicide spot is because of a fictional story published in the 60s that featured a character (or maybe a couple in love?) committing suicide there. After that Aokigahara became the "hip" place for suicidal people to die and the legend just grew from there.
This may sound weird but I'll watch top5s like once a month so I can binge watch all the new episodes and rewatch episodes I love this channel and wish more videos would be put out more than once a week
