The way these two talk about how they became leaders they make it sound like it's a "gift" or innate. I understand there are personalities that do well in leadership positions but anyone can be a leader, it's how you treat people. That's why we're watching these episodes because leadership has principles that can be learned.

I don't ever post comments but have to share for Chad! I was already attending church heavily and was involved but only to certain extent. Last year a church member had tickets to the outcry concert, and unfortunately she couldn't attend and chose me to give the tickets too only two days prior. I had no car, was scheduled to work, and I wanted someone to come with me. Magically someone offered to work for me after not really trying to ask anyone to switch. just happened to mention in conversation about the tickets. So then I had to arrange a car to get there, maybe someone who could go with me could drive. Could not find anyone to go with, but had this feeling that God wanted and needed me to go, and alone. Which IS super hard for me to do sometimes. My boyfriend offered up his car, so It was then i was just like "okay God, I will go". He seemed to have made the way there so it felt obvious. In Houston is where I discovered Mr. Chad Veach who has extremely changed my life. After getting his book FAith FOrward Future, I ended up stepping up and became the Youth Director at church. I try to start everyday with listening to something from Chad, and maybe was a little gun ho on telling everyone to read his book. Also for Julie the video on Joy hit my students hard and it was after that, the kids started finally reading some of his book. You guys are just awesome! I think back to that day all the time, because HE directly lead me there, confirmed that it was time to give it my all. Love the talk on creatives, Because for my church (Crossroad baptist in Lufkin)I am one of them so it was exciting to hear about understanding the creatives a bit
