You and I seem to be of the same era. I remember the IWS. Night vision was a big deal. I went on to research IR. I will shut up now. Night vision is now Infra Red technology. Not Image intensification like the 70's.
I was sent the product. I haven't charged them for my time. I paid for the action camera, and was very pleased with it, so I was more than happy to do a review.
Nice piece of kit and yes for winter outings you can be in darkness before you know it.
The top screw hole is for additional ir torches and/or a head mount option. Looks like a nice set.
I remember the Starlight scopes. Reach out and touch someone in the distant dark.
