Love the Lotus Super Seven gasser, the pickup is gonna be cool. Nice work on Herman's tow truck. The 50 Ford custom is neat. Love the tale about your work as a short order cook. Best wishes from Nova Scotia....
The top fuel truck is really looking good. Have you thought of angle-sectioning the hood to give the driver a little better view of the road? Also the Surf Woodie looks a lot better with the C-cab attached to it. Drunks, diners, and diesels, I think you’ve seen it all hang in there Glenn keep up the good work!
loving the funny truck, dumping the exhaust through the rear wheel wells is a good idea The little C cab is shaping up really nice, I'm looking forward to seeing the final I'm glad you liked those lights, they are armored spotlights for a Sherman tank, scaled up from 1/35 😛 They do finish off the front of Herman's wrecker (Bodysnatcher?) nicely though. I really appreciate the shout out. the Lotus has been one of my favorites since you first showed it
I'm watching you talk about that dragster pickup and I'm just wondering what it would look like if you turned the truck body around so it looks like it's going backwards, just wonderin'. Herman's Hauler looks cool with that big beam on the back and those lamps are perfect for the theme. Great sense of humour Glen, they should make a movie of your life...oh, wait, there's TH-cam.
I too worked at a Ford Dealership.I’m a retired auto tech.I had to get out of the business vehicles are absolutely nothing like they where when we where younger.
Gee Whiz Glen! I am in a pickle, I can't decide if it is the model builds, new and old, or, the fantastic stories, I like the most!! Oh wow Man! Well, either way, I think We all are "WINNERS!" Great stuff all around Glen! Looking forward to the next video Sir! Take Care, Be Safe, God Bless, Later
Thank you so much Russell for the kind words I really appreciate it great comment really enjoyed reading it so thank you for watching and for commenting buddy later Glenn
Haha, damn, reminds me of when I worked at HoJo’s restaurant, back in the late 70’s thru 81, I started out washing dishes and bussing tables, eventually moved up to cook, and I was on third shift too. I hated dealing with the drunks, about every night but especially on Friday and Saturday nights, after the bars closed down, and HoJo’s stayed open all night back then. Man that seems like forever ago now, geez! And I worked at the Omelette Shoppe ( precursor to Waffle House) and dealt with the same drunks there too but at least I knew most of them, literally!
I think the bands improving Truck comin along nicely My mother would say "very trying at timers" Like the pie woody We got him subbed Definitely good lookin lights Wrecker is awesome Ive got a lot of fading models Nice looking ford Well that's a beatnick bandit You can do frosted paint jobs Hey hey I live there Great memories They won't let me sub the rest I got
Nice show Glen! I am thinking about trying to scratch build something cool like Herman's wrecker. You should have told the guy. How about a honeymoon salad? Lettuce alone.🤣🤣See Y'All later, Bye.👍✌
Love the truck project. The Surf Woody / Pie Wagon blend looks Really Cool!!!! I wouldn't worry about the tires. It's part of history. Love looking at older builds to see where I've been vrs where I am now. Cool 50, Mysterion, and Super Seven. Glad you and Betty are okay. Thanks for sharing
Good morning Mr Glenn, got my caffeine, sitting on the back porch enjoying your show again.. Hopefully in the near future I will have me a channel.. love the ford truck project.. thanks for sharing your knowledge and your creativity.. Have a great week bud..
Hey buddy, it’s me again Margaret you know Ray Stevens song just kidding ha, ha, it’s me Robbie nice job on the models.👍👍 still given out🙏🙏and❤❤to everyone your friends and neighbor Robbie
Don't mock me, your going to have to change your name to Mr Mockingbird Models. None the less, that pickup dragster going to be cool! So will the Pie Woody, wasn't Ducktales a cartoon? My old original Gangbusters kit the white wall inserts themselves melted and attacked the plastic parts, the tires had been placed in a baggie. Love that drunk guy taking off with a bag of salad in a stole semi, are you sure it wasn't you cryin'?
