All thanks to the zoo authorities that they brought these two sisters together. As babies and kids they played and grew up together and now as adults also they are living, loving, playing together, having fun. Thanks to the zoo for keeping them together , for giving them such a good happy life !
Yes I am also mesmerized to see the love they have for eachother. Tayari would put all her efforts to pull out the roots of a tree, but instead of eating she would offer it to Iriki. Iriki would show affection to Jabali like her own child. I earlier videos when Ringo was not born, I had observed that during the feeding time of Jabali, Tayari would repeatedly go inside the cave and come out until Iriki would also go inside the cave with her ! This loving bond would never be there if they have been living with some unrelated females.
I think it’s the first time iv seen a smile on ikiri face. It’s so lovely to see them playing together , its just fantastic the mums have bonded thank you for sharing this video.❤️❤️❤️
Aaw...😍 Jabali is so enjoying every bit of the attention and play rough housing with mom Tayari and auntie Iriki. He is also enjoying exploring on his own. He fancies the Muntjac sisters as well🤣. Meanwhile D"Jeeco is steady munching on his bark and stems. He didn't get the memo that today is family role in the grass day. 😀
The ladies love to play. It seems that D'Jeeco is not included. After all Tayari's attention while Iriki was pregnant, he must be lonely! Is Tayari tying to get Ringo from Iriki? I love to see Iriki smile while playing. I don't know how she protects Ringo with how rough Tayari is while they play. It is a wonderful family and I love watching them. I have never seen a gorilla family so loving and close. Thank you!
This is normal play, even with mother’s and babies. Iriki protects Ringo with her body and arm/hand. She rarely lets go of him. This would be dangerous play for humans, but not gorillas. Notice that the play doesn’t bother Ringo. He sleeps right on through it.
pretty sure if Iriki didn't like any of it she would have just got up and left, and definitely not roll on her back exposing her baby out in an open position like that. You see how the play was sometimes initiated by Iriki herself too, with hands reaching out to Tayari while she's on her back.
Tayari is extremely smart. She is playing and watching Ringo. I think it just a matter of time before she takes him. Remember, Iriki did that with Jabali. I just hope she is as kind to him as Iriki was with Jabali.
