I plan on getting one within the year but I also am a nurse who works 3 12 hour shifts a week and would have to leave him alone for that time; what would you suggest/any advice before I get him

Ok im not a trainer or anything but prong collers are not hood if you use them to rough or you use them for a long period they can slowy collapse your dogs neck and i mean e collers are ok i guess but just don't put them on the highest setting all the time love your vids btw!
Trainers know not to use them rough so no one ever uses them rough unless if it’s someone who doesn’t have experience with it or knows how to use it. Prong collars are not to be put where the collar goes. It goes behind the ears. Plus, when you use prong collars, you don’t put so much pressure on the dog you just flick it.

But please don't use e collers or prongs because it can give you short term results on behaviour but they cause long term side effects on dogs physical and mental health.. I'm not an expert but i have watched so my Victoria Stillwell a dog training expert videos and she always says it's not good to use them.. Love to you.. 💓
Whatever works for her works for her 💞 prong and E collars are great when used properly. E collars have saved so many dogs from shelters! R+ trading doesn’t work for everyone 💞💞

As a fellow vet tech, I also use e collars and germ springer prong collars. As well as raw feeding. I have boxers.

That’s why you have to get high quality ones as well. Not the cheap ones from the pet store.
