Yeah that's what's best for the early game. Some later fights though, they have too much life and so much can go wrong. That's when the combos come in, which you'd actually have by that point. Come to think of it, that's probably why the Saiyan Saga is especially unbalanced, you literally don't have half the tools the game is designed for.
@wolfgod6443 so the Db sagas saiyan saga is basically jiren versus goku frieza and 17, but 17 is still being built by gero, frieza doesnt know he can go past his first form And goku doesnt even have ssj
This is what it would look like if they made a Dynasty Warriors PS2 game where you played as a generic officer and had to fight maxed out Zhang Liao. Then a year later, you had to fight Zuo Ci and Lu Bu.
Learning the combos in this game was so frustratingly necessary. When I was a kid I was only able to beat Perfect Cell once and whatever focus/adrenaline I had for that one time was lost immediately

I’d also say Evolution on the PSP, but *GAMEPLAY-wise,* it’s actually somewhat *passable!* (although, as Bumbles McFumbles points out in a video, this is because it’s built off of the Shin Budokai games) And there actually *is* just _one_ pretty good thing that Ultimate Tenkaichi did: they used shading reminiscent of the Kanzenban manga covers!

I actually have this game and keep a save file around just for the cinematics. The balance is a little strange especially with the unlockable characters

Loved this game, my introduction to the Dragon Ball franchise. I asked my mom to wake me up 1 hour before the bus picked me up so that I could spend that time playing this game in the morning. Absolutely phenomenal
Sagas biggest crime was just when it was so bad it was getting good, it ends right after Cell. I became invested and wanted the whole Buu saga to see how bad that would be

Fun fact : the trick is actually pretty "simple", it's never finishing your combo so you can basically endlessly beat the boss until his life hits 0

He has like 6× your health bar, his basic combos do twice as much as your ultimate attacks, and he can teleport. Wtf? This isn't fair.
Just lock in. Jump his ass. Don't give him the chance to do a combo.

The story mode of the game was being played, you dont get broly until you beat the game or cheat to play as him.

As a speedruner of this I would highly recommend you learn infinite combo for this game. It’s one of the few tricks that makes this game playable.
