Generally books translated by Arabic speakers into English have numerous anomalies /inaccuracies.,This is quite understandable considering the wide chasm between Semitic and European languages. The good news is that Tafseer Saadi by the late Shaykh Abdul Rahman Saadi is in good, accurate English and is a must read for students of Quranic studies. Best Quran translations are M Asad (Leopold Weiss), Ali Qarai, Hammad Zaki, Maududi and Asi. Unfortunately, Muhsin Khan is not an accurate translation.
