- We mount the Actioncam on Jäger and point the Wildcam on our campsite during the rainy night's sleep, Jäger goes exploring..... Overnighter in our bushcraft shed, made from natural materials only, testing its waterproofness during this rainy night. We also campfire cook a nice bushcraft meal, experimenting with butternut squash. Enjoy & stay tuned for the second part of the roundhouse series coming soon!

I really wanted to watch this but I'm saving it for before bed because I chill and watch vids on my laptop before bed and been binge watching your videos. Fell asleep last night watching and had a dream that was camping and carving a spoon in front of a fire in my own made shelter and woke up this morning really relaxed because I had been camping... but in my own bed while I was asleep haha

When you guys get done, you should edit together a 6 hour video of the build. Ireland is so beautiful, and these videos are very relaxing. They remind me of my childhood building shelters in the woods with my friends. I think that there are spots in northern California that look like Ireland and northern Europe. There was always something that calmed my soul about the forest, moss, stones, and foraging.

When growing up mom would make acorn squash with a little butter and brown sugar and it was amazing. Thanks for reminding me about this food I haven't eaten in years!! Also love the content looking forward to more on the roundhouse

I called Julius' bench the winner over Dylans' chair, but the move-ability of that chair just keeps paying dividends.
I believe, overall Julius is the superior builder. But as a perfectionist he has problems with the rules. Dylan works better wirh the limites time and resources they had. He improvised and won the bow battle. Julius did it the long 'right' way. His bow would have been better for long term survival, but he wasn't able to finish it in time.
That's why they make a great team as they bring different thing to the table.
Jaegercam was great. I wonder if it would be more stable if the cam was on jagers head.

another great place for birch bark is north America in our area of NYS I have some bark that is .5 ml thick it was from a fallen tree old growth birch from the Catskill mountains it is to bad that your bark does not work well or rather thick
The birch bark across Canada is the same. You can almost pull sheets of it!

16:05 Hmm, ... most people instinctively sleep with their feet toward the opening, not their heads. It's safer. Even if I knew no living thing was within 100 miles I'd still feel weird with my head at the opening. Even in my own home I'd never sleep with my head towards the door. It would feel almost like being upside down.

What part of honeysuckle do you use
honeysuckle naturally 'sheds' strings of its outter bark, especially on the thicker vines yo can peel off some nice strands of it. by far the best tinder in ireland in my opinion;)
