      @@thestrangeguygr Thanks dude, I appreciate it, i'm currently planning on making a video related to the new update... and it won't be about how good it is unfortunately, I didn't really enjoy playing the new game.

      Probably won't play the hardcore mode on this version, will probably do it on the original 2015 version

    After beating the remaster my main gripe has to be the fact that Slender's AI feels noticably weaker than in the unity versions.
    If I had to some up all the problems with the remaster's Slender AI in comparison to the unity verisions it would have to be:
    1. You can look at him pretty much forever without the risk of dying to sanity drain, unless you are very close to him, in which even then the sanity drain is still hilariously slow in comparison to the unity versions where Slender would vaporize you in 3 seconds or less for looking at him. This lets players stunlock Slender for as long as they can hold line of sight with him, making it hilariously easy to sidestep him to collect pages in his more agressive phases.
    2. Slender's teleportation behavior is noticably worse in comparison to unity Slender's AI. Unity Slender would rapidly teleport in front of the player to cut them off, or sometimes teleport closer to the player if they were already looking at him from a distance. I can't say remaster Slender *never* does this, but in comparison to how spammy unity Slender was with this last time I played the Xbox 360 port of Slender: The Arrival, it's extremely noticable that his teleportation behavior is WAY less agressive.
    3. Slender seems to no longer walk/advance fowards from his current position when the player breaks line of sight with him. Slender in the unity versions would noticably inch closer to you if you looked away for a split second, and then quickly looked back. I haven't seen remaster Slender do this once, he always stays put in the same spot. What he does instead, is teleport to another location, usually closer to the player but not in the same area he was before as soon as they break LOS with him.
    I absolutely love the amazing graphics and new chapters the remaster has with it, but if I were to recommend the game to someone else who's familiar with Slender games then I would tell them to play the original unity versions instead. Slender's AI in those versions is WAY more aggressive and actually gives the game some real challenge. I can't say it will stay like this forever though, as the devs were pretty quick to respond the criticism of Slender's new model that was present in the trailers, and they tweaked him to be way taller and more "Slender" lmao. I do have faith that if this is brought up on the steam community hub (which the devs have been watching like hawks), then they will release a patch to tweak his AI and make it more agressive.
    I know you said you are planning to make a video on the problems the remaster has, and I think it would be awesome if you were to include the difference in Slender's AI as apart of that if you weren't already planing to do so. Keep up the great content!

      ​@@PanMannYT I reposted my comment about the problems with remaster Slender's AI with some minor editing on the Steam Community Hub for the game, and the devs were extremely quick to respond and confirm that they are working to improve his AI to put him on par with Unity Slender, if not make him even more aggressive then the former. The devs also confirmed that they will lock some of Slender's currently missing behaviors behind normal and hardcore in order to ensure Slender doesn't curbstomp newer players and frustrate them into the point of quitting the game. (Basically once the patch comes out making his AI way more aggressive, Easy difficulty will be almost completely unchanged, but Remaster Slender on normal and hardcore will be just as aggressive; if not more aggressive, than Unity Slender.)
      They also gave a reasoning for why remaster Slender's AI is currently so weak and easy to play against in comparison to Unity Slender. In the process of trying to translate Unity Slender's AI code from the Unity engine to Unreal Engine 5, some of Unity Slender's AI code was lost in the process of translation. This has lead to remaster Slender completely missing certain behaviors present in Unity Slender, such as teleporting in front of the player to ambush them, or teleporting towards the player while they are already looking at him. Along with this, remaster Slender's aggression level is completely constant, only being increased by the amount of pages the player currently has. Unity Slender's AI would be boosted in aggressiveness if the player was playing on a framerate higher than 30FPS, as Unity Slender's AI scripts ticked depending on the player's current FPS. The higher your FPS, the more aggressive of a Unity Slender you have.

    I have to say that while I love this remaster, I have quite a bit of issues with it, primarily Slenderman himself feeling shorter and much less menacing, with the removal of his slow walking, his heavy camera glitching, and his threatening standing pose, in place for a more casual looking one, that while more inline with Slender: The Eight Pages, feels much less aggressive and terrifying.
    while it sounds small, with Slenderman being *the main villain of the game* you kinda need him to be the big scary creature, while here he kinda looks like you're average slightly taller dude.

    I have very mixed feelings on this remake. The improved visuals are really good and almost resemble how I remembered STA from way back in the day. However some of the aesthetical decisions I found really strange and even took away some of the horror in the original Unity version. The colors are so saturated it looks like a cartoon at times and night time is so bright you don't even need a to use your flashlight.
    I'm not saying the original wasn't stylized it was very heavily stylized but it still grounded itself in realism. Night is actually pretty dark to the point you NEED your flashlight to see. The glitch effects also felt nerfed which removed some of that creepiness from Slender. The glitch effects in the original encouraged you to look away as it was so nauseating you HAD to look away if you want to know where you're going. There's also the issue with his model not being as tall and scary and the AI being nerfed.
    I have hope Blue Isle will fix some of the issues here since it looks like the over saturation of some levels have been drastically reduced to look more like the original.
