I had the same problem. Diebetes running in my family. (canceled in Jesus name!) I prayed about it then I got a dream and God showed me that I needed to do water fast for 3 days. After the 3 days I had no more cravings for sugar, suddenly I wanted water and fruits and vegetables. Sometimes we need to do a reset. As soon as the sugar bug bites again then you can reset again. Trust me it really helps. I eat less now and don't go after cravings. I don't even want take out. The thought of greasy food nauseates me.

Food became my comfort 3 years ago when going thru different storms I created a bad routine of turning to food. The word says, the glutton will become poor and lazy. Putting food ahead of God is idolizing food and being disobedient. I pray to be more disciplined with my eating, I know it has brought me too much pleasure when I should seek God above ALL things.
