@@tobias1438 if its a swift rune they probably just tried to improve their best swift set. My biggest goal is getting 300 speed tiana, so I tried... and I get annoyed by seeing all the horrible stats when trying to get a decent event rune.
I just got my first ever quad-speed-roll rune in 2+ years of playing SW... it's on a secondary server I started 3 weeks ago... It's a blade rune... It rolled +25 spd... It's slot 4... It's FLAT DEF for main stat :') Well, at least it's a 6* legend with innate DEF +8%

he meant keep rolling for 4 nice stats (including 6 speed, together with 6% or more into hp/att/def/crit/accuracy) and then you accept, and then you go for the 17/18 speed lol ofc this would take like 200 rolls for each rune, which is tiring as hell haha

Com2us could have a craft-your-own rune event every month and people would still take years to have decent ones, even if you farm for 24/7. It's crazy when you stop and think about long it takes to put really great runes on a monster.
As someone who farms a decent amount each day (10-40 10x runs), my rng was so bad for the event runes. I had to take them early, as I could not get a +18 on my swift after over a week of re rolling. Several weeks of re rolling just to get the stats I wanted, even though they weren't maxed. Can't be too greedy on this event when you get ASS TIER rng.
The reason they left flat rune subs is because they're gonna gem it out anyway, however i see your point Mr.Bagel, it's still a little bit of a gamble.
I think there is no point in going for perfect subs in general if your goal is a perfect SPD rune. At the end of the day you can change one of the subs and have a stat that is higher than any 1-roll stat.
Hey Bagel, You are saying maybe they where going for this, and maybe they should'nt continue with a flat stat. I rerolled one of my runes 500 times and had 0 rolls with 4 good subs, so I had to settle for 3 maxed good subs and one lesser stat. Luckyely I got 18 spd after three times on that rune.
A friend of mine let’s me hop on and check out her account from time to time and help her with runes and how to’s. I saw this one violent rune she had that had speed on it. Wasn’t even powered up. Don’t know why. So I powered it up for her. Got +26 or +28 speed I can’t remember. It was an amazing rune. I yelled at her for not using it. And told her that she was very very lucky.
my best event rune was a slot 6, will, hp% that rolled 29 speed, my first quad speed rune. my other was a slot 4 crit damage vio rune that rolled 23% crit rate and 16% atk. Both ungrinded at the moment so can go higher
2:30 Maybe this was a super endgame player who knows that slot 3 is the weakest, when it comes to swift runes. So he/she might just needed ONE good rune on slot 3

For anyone who thinks getting a tricaru rune is better because it will let them farm other runes, I spent 2k crystals on refreshes this weekend to finish my last rune and didn't get a since rune that looks like it could've been made using a blacksmith event.
I ruined my event runes... This was my first blacksmith event and I had no idea how it worked. I assumed I could just keep making runes with the 7 year tokens.
I used around 2000 points for both of my runes but almost couln't get 4 good stats on one of my runes. You can be greedy as you want, but if RNG says no there is nothing you can do. But 2 hours ago I got lucky finally. 3 hours before event ends. (vio slot 6 HP% - 7 ATK% - 5 Res - 8 Def % - 6 Spd --> ends with 23 spd and 12 ATK % without grinds) alternate comment title: try to roll until the end of the event

I actually got lucky with these event. I also got 6 Speed on my Will slot 6 HP% then it went two high roll speed making it 18 was so happy since its only my first roll and I wont haven't reroll it tons of times, Then it happened. I claimed and rolled it to +12 !Another two high rolls making it 30 I was jumping from the toilet because its one of my first Will Quad speed. The F2P joy

yes get tricaru runes. if u are an early account it can be hard to make. Making a rune that you are going to use for thousands of runs is important too.
i got a hp slot 6 swift that needs some reapping and a vio slot 4 hp quad with 28 spd :D of course faster vio and faster rune in my account, playing for like 2and a half years
i did not get any insane runes from this event. but i reapped a violent cd rune and it rolled 29 spd 5% def and 7% atk and another stat (i forgot) which i gem into a 9 cr. it has a flat atk 11 innate :o
tbh, mine turned out kinda trash. the best runes onm y account are purple ones with 3 good subs that didnt roll low and an enchanted 4th stat. on paper my event runes were aweseome, but got destroyed by the rolls ^^
also that why i never bothered wasting hours to get the predator down since the runes all have a stat that u want no roll on and ofc its always that one rolling

Got a will slot 4 Crit dmg rune that rolled quad speed(28). So I am pretty happy. Going on my savannah when I get her better runes elsewhere :).

I hate how speed dominant SW is. Resistance is nearly a joke for a stat and HP/defense cant match the impact of CD%.
My event runes got 1 roll into speed MAX, I would steal for some of these runes
