My son and his wife started their marriage together by moving from CT to NH, about 20 min from Lake W., they don't do lake stuff, but they love the suburban/rural lifestyle. They feel glorious being up there.
Looking to relocate to New Hampshire while I think Portsmouth would be a great place I grew up where we had hurricanes so I’m afraid of the coast. Do you have any opinions on north and Manchester or Concord thank you
But Cam, let's be honest. I am told that during the summer and autumn months the roads are bumper-to-bumper with the influx of tourists, making it a pain in the neck for residents to get around

Try being on the seacoast on a weekend between May-September. You’ll be trapped on the highway for HOURS!
Portsmouth is wonderful, but the lakes region with access to ski areas/white mountains is more 4 season in my opinion.

Yep! The Seacoast is better😁
I really miss living in NH and Portsmouth is beautiful but the sea coast is way too expensive for me.
Well said!
