There was a time when I used to drive with this song on endless repeat. It’s SOO good in so many ways - musical composition, lyrics, the beat, the message. Still gives chills. Thanks for featuring it!
I love the fact that it’s a massive crowd/show like this and dude comes out in just skate shoes jeans and a footie uni, no fancy hair, lookin like he’s waiting for the bus for 10th grade. Looks like you’re average down to earth dude
A simple search on Lukas Graham documentary should do it. Or find the channel Dali A/S. It's a 4 parter, and has been viewed way way way less than it deserves, IMO.
Only found out recently there is a 2nd documentary/movie "7 Years of Lukas Graham" that follows them for 7 years. I'm only just now watching it. There's a bit of the same material from the other documentary, but I figure this is more of a continuation of the first one.
I haven't even listened to you for thirty seconds and already, I'm _loving_ your voice! Getting some _real_ James Earl Jones vibes from you. Soothing...
Lukas Graham was born and raised on an island in Copenhagen that was, in practice, allowed to exist in anarchy beyond the laws of Denmark from 1971 until the mid-to-late 2000s called Christiania. Its history is pretty cool and adds another dimension to his story
Christiania is not an island. Its a small area in copenhagen (only one mile from the palement). Its still going strong and a famus turist attraktion. A nice down to earth place to go for a walk or for food and coffee. Christiania is most famus for illigal hebs sold in "pusherstreet". The coverment is trying to close pusherstreet at this moment. They have tryed for years without any luck.
Time seems to crawl by when you're younger, but as you get older the time flies by and it seems like you never have enough time to do all of the things you always wanted to do. At 71, the road ahead of me is much shorter than the road behind me. Yes, enjoy each day to the fullest because you'll never get it back.
This song always gives me gooseskin. Say anything you'd like about Lukas, and artists like Sheeran and Adele; but you can never doubt their ability to tell painful stories in so few words.
Ooooohhh, I hope to see a lot more Lucas Graham from you, because I absolutely adore his music and his voice. You're not there, Not a damn thing changed, and Happy for you are other amazing songs you should react to... hard to go wrong with any of his music though!
Hello, Can I please request Mama said. Its a very inspiring song for those of us who are not the most downtrodden and who are not the most privileged. We are very much the ones who never felt like we were able to speak up because people hard it worse. Studio version is very good but he also played it at the nobel peace prize concert
I have finally subbed. I have seen a number of your videos but you really do a great job breaking lyrics down and reacting. Keep up the good work and keep growing
I suggest “not a damn thing changed” by lukas graham. Such a deep song (all of their songs are deep, but this is in memory of his childhood friend William and really hits you).
i broke down when he said ï hope my children come and visit once or twice a month" this is exactly how my mother feel.... im sure this is also will be me when im old 😭
At almost 38 years old, this song hits harder every year.
I turn 40 soon, I feel ya!
Soon you’ll be 40 years old
Yeah same and I'm only 18
Same im 25
for real!
Lukas is a storyteller extraordinaire. Heavy hip hop influences in his music as well. You can run through his whole catalog and find great songs.
More Lukas Graham please! He has a lot of great songs. Try “Mama Said” from him next.
I love that Song too.... "Mama said"
@@dortechristiansen8692 hell yeahh love that one too!

Yes thats a good one
Lukas Graham is the band not lead singer ☺ (not trying to be a dick, just something I've noticed a lot of ppl didn't realise) x
“I only see my goals I don’t believe in failure” insane lyrics
I can't hear this song without tearing up or just straight up crying
I'm Danish and Lukas Graham makes me proud of being danish :) he is so unimpressed and chill
Yeah Lukas reminded me a bit of an early Joss Stone, though with shoes on. They're both just so nonchalantly themselves..
Han er for fed
I'm 65 , bawling like a baby , absolutely love this song.
This song made me cry😭❤
Absolutely love this song. Truly a masterpiece. Very glad you reviewed this one. 👏

I love the fact that it’s a massive crowd/show like this and dude comes out in just skate shoes jeans and a footie uni, no fancy hair, lookin like he’s waiting for the bus for 10th grade. Looks like you’re average down to earth dude
Lukas is one of the most talented musicians I've ever seen.
Definitely gotta check out more of Lukas Graham! Mama Said, Happy For You, etc. SO many great stories to tell.
I recommend having a look at the documentary about them traveling to the US trying to get their breakthrough, after first making it big in Denmark.
where can i find this?
A simple search on Lukas Graham documentary should do it.

I love Lukas Graham . There an underrated song called Lullaby
Time seems to crawl by when you're younger, but as you get older the time flies by and it seems like you never have enough time to do all of the things you always wanted to do. He has such a compelling and unique voice.

Criminal mind and then Better than yourself (criminal mind part 2) BHS Broadcast live
Happy Home is another good one. And if he wants a laugh Strip no more.
It’s funny because I just randomly decided to listen to Welcome to my funeral earlier today.
Reminds me of Cat's in the Cradle by Harry Chapin in the way of life lessons.
Beautiful.

The lads did well. "Mama Said" follows the storytelling with a poppy vibe and a smile, plus shows 'Narnia a lil deserved love..
