It pained me so much that once an uncle who was a very effective preacher and annointed was defined by his mistake by his organization, his peers, and even his family...and it pained me even more that his own family disowned him...but he recovered spiritually but not physically coz he died brokenhearted...

Roberta Schalkhammer, what you said is exactly why I don’t go to church or any church anymore!! I spent my whole life in church and experienced the exact same thing. Preachers and church people talk a good message but when it comes down to that moment of helplessness were are they???? They talk about you when your not there and tear you down instead of loving you in time of need. All my years in church and actually a lay minister I’ve lost my faith because of fake people in the church! I also know now that Christianity is copied from religions before that after opening my mind. For 30yrs in church I was depressed and stressed but now I’m extremely happy with life outside of the Christian church. I’m not serving any God that kills people especially women and children to prove who he is and ain’t it just AMAZING how we don’t hear that preached!!!!
