I owned a excavation business. We were an essential business that was still able to work and not shut down . Did not have contact with the public. Business got slow but we weathered through it. No pp loan. Other essential business in my area worked as well. They collected ppp loans and laughed about it,free money . Government did not require to look at tax records, payroll records. Biggest give away scam ever. Granted some businesses needed the loan which is fine. Government should look into business that applied for it and did not need it
Let's see get a 1.5 million ppp loan get caught have to spend 3 years in prison and pay restitution of 210,000 dollars. So she's making 400,000 dollars a year to sit in jail, 3 meals a day no bills to pay sounds like a pretty good gig.

I dont think ppl are mad someone like you got the money. Its the thieves. Ppl who don't have businesses or who have money. Then I heard many small businesses were denied. So, yeah, some ppl are upset.
@ well yeah I did take me a while to get the loan. That being said- I refused to use the “pop up” companies that were just approving people. I worked directly through my bank where my business account was. So while it would have been insanely nice to get hundreds of thousands 😂 I only got what I qualify for and it did help a lot. And my mom told me- do not accept money you know you don’t qualify for- especially from the government 😂
@ that being said- I think majority of people didn’t abuse the loan. We were all just trying to survive and save our livelihood. The scammers always ruin everything
