This venue must have a problem with gnats or mosquitos or something, everyone is swiping and swatting at them...I even saw one guy stomping on something??
It’s because it’s been recorded as a multitrack, and mixed down properly in a studio, instead of just taking a stereo feed from the desk in the venue (which generally sounds like ass because you set the levels on the PA to balance with the drums and amps in the room, not to sound good on it’s own). This also gives the opportunity to correct any small errors, especially with there being so little room/audience mic sound used in this recording. Not saying they did that though, just that it’s possible. Thin Lizzy actually corrected so much on ‘live and dangerous’ that it basically wasn’t live anymore.

It’s because it’s been recorded as a multitrack, and mixed down properly in a studio, instead of just taking a stereo feed from the desk in the venue (which generally sounds like ass because you set the levels on the PA to balance with the drums and amps in the room, not to sound good on it’s own).
This also gives the opportunity to correct any small errors, especially with there being so little room/audience mic sound used in this recording.
Not saying they did that though, just that it’s possible. Thin Lizzy actually corrected so much on ‘live and dangerous’ that it basically wasn’t live anymore.
