I love how Jerma's voice for Dusty went from Bernie, to Mr. Satan, to Heavy, to Cookie Monster, back to Heavy, to Arnold Schwarzenegger, and then finally to Auguste Gusteau.
This has to be one of my favorite series of streams ever. I love the energy that jerma brings to these games and how much fun it is to watch him play these games is hard to explain. The games themselves are amazing too, and I probably would've had just as much of a smile the whole time if I played it myself but sharing the experience with everyone (para-socially lol) is chefs kiss!

I don't know which type of "rarity" the comment you're replying to meant, but more rarities can only make cards harder to get if they are rarity locked with set rotation. In that sense, having multiple foil treatments of Bugleberry makes the common Bugleberry cheaper. If, however, you can only get One Guy in foil, then it can be a problem.
I'm hoping they at least do well enough for a second print to be considered. I don't exactly live in a country with a dense population, so it can be a bit difficult to find physical games that aren't in the mainstream. Because of this, it's going to be unusually hard to find anyone who plays Grotto Beasts. Otherwise, it's going to end up as a dust farm in my wardrobe, like my Pokemon cards.

I hope Jerma or somebody in the community creates a way to play Grotto Beasts online. I've been a huge Yugioh and Magic fan for a long time. And I can confidently say online simulators where all cards are free is a great way to pick up players and build the community. It allows anyone to potentially become a great player. Which will then incite them into buying physical cards. I know Jerma's goal with Grotto Beasts isn't to hit Pokemon and Magic levels. But it would still be a fun thing to have, and he could even do a stream where he versus viewers.
Jerma froggy voice is a vibe, its not quite the top one like Otto's in my humble opinion, but still it brings joy to me, tickles my ears and makes me forget that life is pain and I hate...

I'd have to imagine that since epics are one-ofs, the ideal strategy might revolve around bringing them out. Reminds me of Reaper Format YGO. The fact that this merch gives infinite, replayable value back to us makes it infinitely better than print on fabric. I was a little shocked at the price especially since he said, "WELL under $100", but I mean you basically get two fully playable decks with everything you need to get started for $60, the other $20 coming from the two booster packs included. I think that's valued just fine considering this is also a limited run as of now. But, I do hope he doesn't stress too hard over the launch, because even just the thought of doing something more than what he consider merch to be is showing that he's thinking, "How can I give them value back" even tho the merch IS supposed to be the value.
