Surprisingly the bass is quite strong. Definitely a good point for this HK system.
The car has like 3 subs in a subcompact so the bass it’s like it has an 8 inch sub
4:23 it’s got wireless Carplay and wireless charging, at least on the Iconic trim.
It does have wireless carplay and wireless android auto is coming in 2024. Was told by dealer today.
BimmerTech makes a plug-and-play modular upgrade kit called Alpha One that apparently elevates this system TREMENDOUSLY, but it ain't cheap.
Is the price difference worth moving to the 12 speaker system over the base model?
Yes, i had a mini cooper d with base sound and now i have a mini cooper s with harman kardon and the difference is big
I have the base stereo and I quite like it, even though it isn’t super loud. I think the HK isn’t really that great.

Why do they put 12 speakers in this model vs only 10 in the Countryman??? Both upgraded with Harmon Kardon.

the fact kardon teams way use jbl lexicon and crown DNA instead other teams of mini cooper .
I heard this system live, really wasn't impressed.

I am sorry, guys, but I have the car and the sound is really bad even for a base system, let alone for an optional upgrade on a premium car. I strongly recommend any potential buyer to stick to the base system. It sounds better!
