I used to be a kete drummer when I was in Ghana. He has said a lot but but .. Techiman people know more history about that. The difference between Nnwomkro and Adowa. Before it was called adabo. It's a combination of nnawuta...the double Gong, plus fritwua, kwadum, aprentema, and the adabo box, that has little pieces of aluminium metal that has a hole in front. We sit on it and be pressing them with the fingers 🤞...and beating the side. The Adowa. Is with Atumpan, the kwadum, dawuro, double Gong, petia and the other drums....there are more to learn about that. The fontomfrom has differences..
Real serious question , how come so many Ghanaian are so jacked up with muscle , is it gym culture or steroids, because when I see old pictures of the people , they looked more slim and natural. Im Akan also , but I'm very curious if gym culture is very maintained in Ghana , and how could we learn the methods they do over there for us in the diaspora
@iknowthetruthcommonsense3643 Most of the Ghanaians I've seen are slim and natural, too. I think the ones that are very muscular like this either have money to go to the gym or steroids.
