Txiki stayed 5 years longer than he said he would. He is due his retirement after his service to the club. Viana is the next era and we'll just have to wait and see what happens.

Norway decided to play 4-4-2 with a more direct brand of football, and lo' and behold, they looked far more cohesive than they normally do, and many of their players actually performed the way you'd expect them to based on their talent and potential.
Makes you wonder why their manager's insisted on ripping off Pep's possession based style of football for so long. I understand the admiration for it, but it doesn't work when you don't have multiple, exceptional passers of the ball in the team.
And no offense intended towards City, but Haaland is occasionally dreadful to watch when he plays in such an isolated role in the team, and my eyes nearly rolled into the back of my head when I saw that he was deployed in a similar role for Norway a couple of years back 😂 The guy lives for explosive, direct football ffs.

I will give you credit pal . With sarcasm and wit you are able to make out all non Man City fans are idiots and that Man City are some sort of Robin Hood team who have saved English football . As a Liverpool fan , when Man City were taken over i defended the decision and said it would take a hundred years to catch up commercially or somehow uncrop a dozen players from the youth team willing to stay and grow with the club and all end up world class . Theres no doubt Man Citys success stems from a football manager type cash injection that feels more like a cheat code you put in on an old mega drive game but the success is still success . I dont know if City falsified accounts or bent the rules in anyway but im sick to death of talking about it . Liverpool only play Man City twice a seaon and more often than not we are competitive. I think my biggest problem with Man City is they have morphed into something they were the antidote too . Their rivals Man Utd . Everything you hated about them you now spout and thats the saddest part of it all
We literally proved that the Premier League not only break their own rules but implement unlawful rules and have issues with certain owners from certain parts of the world. Are we perfect? Nope. Are we like United? Well in the sense that we win all the time and everyone hates us yes but we're not like them in the sense of being very friendly with the people in charge. We also genuinely want things to be competitive. We didn't climb to the top and then pull the ladder up after.

Haaland himself is quite comfortable working alongside strikers who fit the same player profile he has.
Look at Norway's squad from yesterday. Haaland was up front WITH Alexander Sørloth who is also 6' 4" (1.94m) tall.
They won 3-0 with Haaland scoring 2 goals and Sørloth scored 1.
