Wooooow! I love them! They are so delicious! We had these in our wedding, Nov. 2003 in Germany, then years later, like 5 years ago, I was longing for them, & I was in our garden 1 hr from Berlin in Germany, and in my mind, asked Mother Earth where could I find them as for many years I have never found them eatable again, then next year I found 2 small ones in our garden 😃🤗🥰 then no I more but last year we went to México on Octuber, all the month, then when we came back I found 2 big ones in our garden but not eatable anylonger, they were already too old 😔then this year I found 1 little bit bigger than yours, 😃 I cooked 1/2 of it and kept the other 1/2 in the fridge, so delicious, thnx a lot 4 your gift dear Mother Earth! Thnx 4 sharing, 👍
So smart to involve her in the whole process, kids are so much more susceptible to new things that way. And wow! How fun is her vocabulary❤ scrumptious! Mom's excitement was fun too 😂
Thanks for sharing this adventure! Love the family teaching as well. Like the old saying goes Give a man a fish (or your daughter) and you feed her for a day. Teach a person to fish and you feed them for a lifetime! Fun watching your daughter soak up all that knowledge. She loved them!!.
Love this video! Thank you! I just found a grouping of them in my driveway. Only one was still in the edible stage. So I cooked it up in butter with onions. So good. Now I'll look for them in the same place next fall!
Wow interesting! I was always taught puff balls were poisonous.. but the only ones ive ever seen were the ones you step on and go up in a puff of mushroomy smoke.
Thank you! They certainly are not edible when they reach the brown spore releasing stage. But when they’re still white and firm, with the proper preparation they’re quite nice. 😊
