Love a blizzard when everyone is safe and warm. This video harkens to a day in my childhood when we had a blizzard and I kept looking out the windows to see if the snow had let up so I could go outside bundled up to play in the snow. Momma always had hot soup awaiting my return to the house. Beautiful memory.

*As the blizzard raged outside, I leaned in my desk chair. I was swathed in a thick blanket and sipped on a mug of black tea, peering out the window of my room in the cabin. I let myself stare off into the distance, at no point in particular, my mind going blank, and the roaring wind and snow provided background noise to my empty mind.*
I remember back when i was a young kid or a young teenager when we use to get these bad snow storms back then. On one hand it was great for us kids but then on the other hand it was terrible for the adults. A lot of the business had a close down and it snowed so bad back then some of the business roof collapsed that's how heavy the snow used to be back then after all powered up. Now for us kids it was great. Shoveling the sidewalks for money, snowball battles, making snowman, snow angels, snow tunnels and making big pile of mountain of snow and just jumping in it. After that we would go in and drink some nice cocoa with marshmallows. The good old days of being a young kid or even a young teenager back then. Great times and great memories.
