- A rather dreamy, spacey song by Tim Blake, former member of Gong and Hawkwind. This song is taken from the album "Crystal Machine", and is a lengthy but interesting piece, to be sure... :)
Don't forget to check out his online store at moonweed.free.fr/ - เพลง
I was at Seasalter Festival 1976 where some of the tracks were recorded! I love TD and Tim, but I think Tim's soloing virtuosity makes his tracks easily identifiable, shine on boogie child!
I bet Seasalter is still high from the the chillum smoke
I was working a Glastonbury when TB & CM closed the festival on the Sunday night . All good spacey stuff and I am not referring to Kevin fumbling with the young actors
Bought his albums when they came out. Glad I have gotten to enjoy them for all these years.
Back then when I first heard this track I was completely smithen... This is a truly great album and especially this track is incredible... I have loved this track ever since the LP came out... Still have it on vinyl AND cd!
One of my favorite electronic music albums!
A Radical tune This blows me away and if this tune didn't exist ,there would be no Trance ,no Psy and no Goa This is the most influential track and most underrated track of all time I admit ...........I would love to remix this
And one thing I love from this track. Some parts in 3/4!. Unlike many electronica of nowadays!.
Bernabé García Sánchez I believe the sequencer driven part to in 6/8, with the end of some measures being 13 bars. The tape echo makes for a very dense rhythm.
one of my favourite of all time, this.
best 15 minutes I have had in a longtime been listening to a lot of hawkwind lately on facebook cause can't play my lps I never heard this tune before but has I am checking out hawkwind I come across this lit a bowl and melted into my chair then shared it on facebook thanks I hope my post will expose this music to more people. Thanks man really enjoyed it.
Just got back from HawkEaster - was blown away by this man's skills on the Theramin -
Lovely! Been looking here now and then for more from this album, his finest work I think. Adore this track!
i love this tim blake
amazing.. really out there love the string machines ;)
Genius
Sublime stuff. Thanks for uploading!
I think Tim Blake was using lasers on stage long before Jean Michel Jarre etc.
insisto que Blake es un gran tecladista,los secuenciadores en esta obra sobresalen junto al teclado y esparsen atmosferas ricas que atraen a la reflexion.
superbe merci..
watched this at maidstone art college. transfixed. 197o something.I was teenager. lol its here on you tube

Quite similar in composition and tempo to Hoenig's Departure.
@SpaceVoyageur I agree... enjoy! :)
@echoes707 So true!! :)
W ao... super
laHHH LA le piu bell ssspacio......
:-)))
Very etheric and original electronica, OK.
I was a bit put off by the bum note at :51, but sill enjoyed the track.
that was note a bum note he actually shit himself.
That was part of the live bit that was overdubbed with the rest of it.
how rare is it to hear a bum note in an electronic track?? I love it. bring on the human live element
