I've been out to the House Range prospecting. Found a bit of gold up in Amasa Valley. My opinion is that the gold that he found was not in the House Range but at a lower elevation in the same area. There is limestone bedrock out that way that contains a significant amount of chunky placer gold. Few people know of it, and I've been searching for it for a couple of years, but no luck yet, unfortunately. Thanks for the story. I'll be keeping my eyes open for Spanish treasures for sure now!
Or Pedro found a sack of gold that the Spanish had lost in the distant past when they were attacked by the Indians and hence the old Spanish gold coin . Probably makes the most sense after all this time .
Thank you very much for the great stories. Hope you are doing well. Enjoy your weekend.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

It's possible that Peado found a Spanish hoard buried somewhere where he was running his sheep.
Also nothing else to find in the area.
