Growing up in Fiji in the 70s, i have always admired the Welsh team and "quietly" supported them through the years. Such Gentlemen of the sport. Thank you Jamie Roberts for sharing part of your journey.
Great player and a wonderful ambassador to the sport of Rugby!
Every moment Jamie describes is so vivid in my mind. Brought tears of joy and sadness as I was reminded of them. What a stellar career. A true Champion.
Thank you for giving us so many pleasurable memories Jamie. Diolch yn fawr iawn I chi.
Very few players are unplayable but early 2010s this man was genuinely unplayable when he was at his best
Thanks JR,doesn't time fly along.
One minute in school, the next a Lions legend.
I was at that 2011 semi final and as a Welshman from Rumney, living in NZ,I can honestly say it was the worst day of my rugby playing/watching life.
Thanks again for the great memories.
I would just like to say thank you, I've loved seeing you play over the years Jamie
That Wales vs England 2013 game still haunts me tbh. 30-3 to Wales and it could’ve been much more, Jamie’s right too. Look at the anthem, as an England fan when I watched it I knew that we were in for a game👀
So good to hear how much you have appreciated your career and what rugby has done for you but you brought a lot to the game too and have been great to watch .
Great vid and look forward to your next one !
Respect, from South Africa.
What an awesome video. What an awesome man. Kia ora from New Zealand.
@Mako VuniPolarBear Thanks for the heads-up.
Tremendous player on and off the field, loved the sly dig when he presented the jersey that seen England out of their own World cup... Cymru Am Byth!
A Very original video from one of our National heroes, thanks Jamie , great player.
🏴 Da iawn, Jamie, diolch yn fawr i di!
Fantastic career and top bloke!
I played against Jamie several times in youth rugby as my opposite number. He always seemed to love a good intercept try. Really nice guy off the pitch and he's done my generation of players proud
jamie roberts a true welsh rugby hero for us mear mortals and lions superstar
What memories lucky enough to see you wear a few of those jerseys in Cardiff my big memory 2012 grand slam .
Jamie you are still a super person from the USA!!!!
Legend great career Doc
What a cv! Top quality player.
How this man isn't broken to bits, is a testament of how tough he is. Spent most of his career bashing into massive objects at 100mph, to break the gain line
Great watch. Interesting to see yourself and LRZ switch clubs in your younger days to Rumney.
I'd love Wales to include him with the Lions going on, get him to a century and I'm sure his experinece will help a tonne.
We have got no centres playing for the lions muppet
@@kristianhumphreys7984 George North is injured though
2011 Jamie was such a goat.
Sidenote, what's the song in that French game replay?
I was in Colombes when Racing lost in the final minute, it was such a close game against Saracens
Still preforming....keep doing it for the Dragons, please... Great player, seems like a top quality guy.
american rugby fan here , try explaining in a basketball obsesseed state ( california) that ur a fan of rugby is like finding a unicorn in a haybale ...magic
Like being a Bruins fan in south Wales 😂😂
I would have liked to heard the Baa Baas story.
I came here to write this. Pretty sure they edited it away, because he already held the Baabaa's jersey, so most likely he said a word or two about it.
In north wales we had no school rugby
Probably more jerseys than any other player. The guy is a journeyman warrior.
I can't help but feel that in an alternate universe, Gavin Henson had the career that Jamie Roberts did
Jamie had/has a better attitude and he focused on playing rugby instead of chasing fame. Henson is an idiot
@@oliprj8676 Exactly my point, hard work beats talent
Where is your stormers jersey
Still desperate to represent his nation. Real hero of Cymru.
He didn't speak much about the club jerseys? No Harlequins, stormers, Bath etc. Would have liked to hear more about those. And the Baa Baas as one other commentator said. but great player and interesting stories.
God didn't instil the spirit of fear into man
