Just heard this in concert tonight and I nearly teared up. Mainly because I have been trying to find my own church to call home for a while and this resonates with me.
The song makes me remember the verse in Isaiah 40:31 "but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." even when we are weary, God is always with us, giving us strength. All we need to do is to put our trust in him, because he has a better plan for us. Jesus will always with us no matter what our situation is. God is love.
This is the first time I've listening it, but I burst in to tears. I felt that God love me even I'm in the bottom of my life and losing my faith again. The chorus part makes me burst into tears. Even though I tempted sin, He still with me!!
