I was thinking the exact same thing when I heard that first story ,certainly don't yell or be angry right then if they want to yell and be angry later then that is their prerogative but while your child is having a psychedelic experience do not make him or her feel any sort of negative emotion just make sure you're there for them and make them feel warm and loved.

For the guy with the third story. I can relate to trip. I understand when you said that whatever you felt was going to happen, happens. As I had a similar trip and I felt center at my heart and I was playing soccer. I felt as I could see myself playing from above but also be at the field at the same time. The feeling of that high level of anxiety felt like joy. Everything was so funny to me but also playing soccer was so amazing. I was creating with love and running, moving, jumping felt so effortless. When people would come to tackle me it’s as I already felt it and saw it coming. It so beautiful as it all happened outside in nature.

Another one is "Stranglehold" by Uncle Ted. That song will send your ass to another dimension. I was on a 5 tab trip one time by myself. It came on completely by random and my ass went parabolic. Felt like I had been abducted by aliens when I finally realized what was going on. A master class in tone, pace and distortion. The lyrics aren't that profound, but it doesn't matter. I actually thought it was several different songs at once.Went into a realm of "Name That Tune" with no possible answers. He just means what he says. There is no hidden meaning. "I got you in a stranglehold baby! That night I crushed your face" 🤷🤯
During my last shroom trip I tried to write down the sounds i heard in my head as an atempt to convey it into normal language. One of the sounds and phrases I wrote down goes as follows: "Pyshepyl Knoknoldninomort". I remember repeating this phrase as if this was the phrase of some sort of magic spell you could use to amplify the intensity of the trip or presence of the mushroom.
I usually get insane balance on shrooms and lsd, like i always manage to stand on my feet. It feels as if my entire body is just able to jiggle with the movement of my fall. I once were hiking with a few friends. I didnt tell them i had taken lsd, i find it very amusing that they cannot tell that i am tripping. The forest we were hiking was extremely steep and it had rained quite a bit earlier that day. When we were ascending i fell down and was rolling with a big backpack, it was very funny i remember as i was falling, and then i just bounced up to my feet. I was amazed and couldnt believe the luck i had. That trip was amazing. I was convinced at some point that i was controlling the flame with my hands and the harmony around the campfire was so good. Everyone was talking with their heart and mind and i was sure the lsd had helped with that.

The ideal solution would be to ask and hear, ask and hear, calm down the young man. How can someone even think that screaming and being angry in general is a "normal thing" to do? It's so sad to see that late adults deal poorly with situations across the world. It wasn't just my family :/ Sorry for the rant, i'm down in a self-knowing path the last year (because I'm living alone now) and i recently discovered that i'm only scared of being myself because my personality was caged and imprisoned subtly by my family with acts like that (being angry and talking down).
Yeah parents often react in the worst possible way in these scenario's, but you also have to empathise with them as they grew up in a completely different world to us and their fear based reactions are just due to a lack of consciousness surrounding psychedelics and experimentation that's natural during youth. My parents saved a verbal ass kicking until i was acid once somehow they found out i was tripping at the weekends , i was 18 at the time and they were around in the 60s and they had done lsd then , they normally let me get on with my life as i did what i wanted regardless , anyway one morning i cam home tripping balls and they knew and they sat me down and gave me talk knowing the acid would have its effect on the talk , i sorted myself out after that , im 40 now and still trip but shhhhh they dont know
@@Vivec I think knowing both of these things are CRUCIAL. It's extremely easy to get an scewed view on parents not getting it, they're indoctrinated and this and that. I mean, they grew up in different times and don't have that outlook you may have and that's okay.
Imagine seeing your baby high? They still see us as little kids…I understand why they react the way they do. I think fight or flight kicks in and their first instinct is to yell like when a kid runs into the street. My mum reacted the same way and she still brings up the guilt over how she overreacted…
I've done lsd over 80 times. My first time 3 and 1/2 hits grateful Dead acid, listened to Darkside of the moon while driving a car full of friends all on acid. wish u were here and Animals are the best albums for tripping. Beware of people u hang with as they can give u abad trip. Best times have been by myself, watching cool movies versus tripping to hard music. The Cartoon Heavy Metal is the ultimate coolest cartoon ever. Although Alice in wonderland is quite the trip and so are many Disney cartoons

There is a town in Colorado named Black Hawk that has a few Hotel/casinos. One of these occasionally has a "battle of the bands" and one year the band I was in participated. We made it to the last round and on that night our regular sound guy who was with us produced a very large bag of mushrooms after the round (we came in 3rd, lol). This was quite the experience for me... all the blinking lights, weird looking people and the long corridors that led to the rooms... all in all it was a very intense, strange experience. Likely won't do that again, but it was an interesting experience!
I would imagine that as so stressful lol. I hate being in public while I'm tripping tried it at a few raves years ago and it was never as good as being at home

One time I was balancing in between “realizing I’m in the trip” usually when me ego dies. But my friend said sumt to me and he was holding a pocket knife trying to clear a bowl. And then it felt like a knife was held to every single one of my tendons. It felt like if I let go all of them would be cut it was terrifying. I managed to hold on which was the longest night of my life but I never let go and I think it was for the best.
I've watched sooo many of your trip reports especially the mushroom ones because I've been preparing for mushrooms. Took 5grams dried yesterday how Terence Mckenna explains it and I just end up quite disappointed. Light was brighter, I felt like I was in a better mood and I had more energy but that was as far as my trip went. First story… “slight acid taste you get on your tounge” THAT IS RC (FAKE ACID) ever stuck a battery on your tounge? If it tastes/feels even slightly like that (it will be faint), spit that shit out. Real acid is tasteless. Reason I say spit it out, RC can be much more concentrated. So you end up taking 1 tab expecting a 50-100ug trip, and can end up having visuals/feelings similar to a 300-600ug trip. Which can be extremely mind-effing. 2nd, fake acid is made out of crazy shit, think rat poison/etc/etc. just about anything to make you hallucinate. 3rd. It’ll burn you out. It’s not worth the risk. Test your acid. Only take it if it’s real. Do not trust your dealer’s “trust me bro”
👍. Yeah it's weird how you can see that everything around you relates to you somehow. For example you watch a film on acid and everything in that film stick's to you for the rest of your life. For me personally films like the x men, the Truman show etc

I've took anywhere between 10 to 16 grams of mushrooms ,my neighbor recorded me taking them and he hasn't gave me or send me the video all I'm going to say is that i don't remember anything but running inside another neighbors house.

the only taste ive ever gotten from LSD or acid was an extra watery taste in my mouth? ive put maybe 1 single tab on my tongue at a time but still never any other taste MAYBE besides alcohol from gel tabs.
I smoked on 800 mics once. My mind scattered, I became anxious and lost sense of control and any grounding I had left. I saw the inner workings of my consciousness, then remembered that I'll be fine, and it'll wear off, and that hippys in the 60s often felt like this. That allowed me to calm down and enjoy it and it was one of the most beautiful experiences of my life.
It's so fucking hilarious to me that the first story's writer says "I didn't have any form of PTSD" then describes textbook, "undiagnosed" PTSD as HPPD. KNOW THY SELF, and do it *before* you trip guys.

We were watching the news on TV and when we would do something the newscasters would mimic us - like if I waved my hands over my head, the woman reading the news would wave her hands over her head immediately, just as I was doing. If my friend clapped his hands, the other anchorman would immediately clap his hands in an identical fashion. It was a shared experienced for me and my 2 friends I was tripping with - we all saw the same thing. Experienced the same thing.
I wish everyone would stop using the term heroic dose, its bad enough as it is that ppl get the idea that dosing really high is some achievement rather than the result of careful exploration by titrating.

I smoked on 800 mics once. My mind scattered, I became anxious and lost sense of control and any grounding I had left. I saw the inner workings of my consciousness, then remembered that I'll be fine, and it'll wear off, and that hippys in the 60s often felt like this. We were watching the news on TV and when we would do something the newscasters would mimic us - like if I waved my hands over my head, the woman reading the news would wave her hands over her head immediately, just as I was doing. If my friend clapped his hands, the other anchorman would immediately clap his hands in an identical fashion. It was a shared experienced for me and my 2 friends I was tripping with - we all saw the same thing. Experienced the same thing.
