"You just kept seeing lungs" that comment really made me laugh. At least you didn't allow the centre dot to defeat you. Actually thecentre looked good if you had lect it black but you were right. It just wanted to be silver all along. Yes! This turned out to be stunning. Limiting the white tones on black, by keeping to the white, pearl white, silver and finally the added bling, it's simply stunning and very chic. There are times when less is more, you make your scroll work look so effortless. All your hard work and tolerance to master your 7mm fine line brush and continuous practicing of the technique is now rewarding you in spades, it's simply stunning. Bravo, well done.
This one didn’t want to play nice, but you battled through, and the finished piece is beautiful. Well done for not getting to frustrated with it. Thank you, your art is beautiful. Happy Sunday, have a amazing week x❤
So beautiful. Your daughter has great taste. ❤❤❤❤ You make the brush work look so effortless until I pick up my brush lol. Another wonderful work of art. Love the way black top dots make everything pop.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who has center dot woes.😂 But, seriously, another drop-dead gorgeous piece. I hope your daughter feels it is crown worthy. I do.
Good Morning Ja Del! I love history and historical paintings. Some fashions make me so glad I’m living now, but some are astounding beautiful in intricacy. This could be titled ‘ Elizabethan Elegance’ . This would enhance Any setting.
Thanks Kris. I’m so proud… I actually sat out to literally force myself to learn and I’m sooo much better for it. It proves that practice really can teach you most anything. Now if I could just learn bigger ones… LOL I stink so bad trying big swooshes and such 😂😂😂
Gooood morning! This is regally beautiful and fit for a Queen! I'm sure your daughter agrees. I've done.. and do..my share of 'dot pluckin' :-) I think that dot was asking to be plucked all along.... that silver looks perfect for the center. Have a beautiful day!
That turned out gorgeous. Your daughter will love it. Although, I was feeling your pain on that center dot but, It turned out in the end. See you next time. 😍💛💛✌
Just gorgeous, JaDeL! I've had issues with the center dot... it can be truly annoying. Once, I removed the center dot just like you did, and I realized after the rest of the piece was completely finished that I liked it better without the center dot! 😂 I hope you're having a good Sunday. ❤
Enhorabuena tu trabajo es precioso, me encanta las filigranas, y tú haces que lo difícil parezca fácil, me gustaría ver como pintas las filigranas a tiempo real , gracias 😊😊❤❤
Your art is both beautiful and inspiring, I love it! BTW where did you get that cool awl?? I haven't seen one small and sleek like that ever. I looked in your supply list but didn't see it. Thank you for showing how to fix mistakes, this came out awesome!
Thank you ♥️ sorry I forgot to list that awl. You can always find my tools here… www.jadelrocks.com/art-desk I try to keep this updated with my everyday tools.
@JaDel I keep forgetting to ask, and perhaps I missed you commenting on this already...but, how did you 1st art show go? (what are your overall thoughts and experience? Did you have a good turnout for your booth? Sales?) Just curious
It was fun. I think I posted about it on the community page or my Facebook. I just didn’t sell as much as I needed to. Sales are just down for me but I’m about to see if I can’t do something about it ♥️♥️♥️
@@JaDeLRocks Glad to hear you had fun, that's what counts! Sorry sales weren't as hoped; hopefully next time will more than make up for it....could be something as simple as the location of the booth? Everyone always says it's all about location, location, location! Was there other DOT Artists at the show with displays as well?
I’m not sure if anything was wrong really. I just think my area is more into different art. It was still so fun and everyone was so kind. I’ll keep trying. ♥️♥️♥️
I love this! It turned out beautiful. I can find Deco Art chalky paint, but sometimes Michael's is out of it. Is it possible to use flat black house paint?
I think you could use any paint you’d want. Just use something that when it dries you can wipe off pencil marks without smearing the black. I like this one because it doesn’t smear and there is less evidence of my brush strokes either it.
Your daughter is going to be so happy with this. I love it.
Awww, thanks!! She likes
Good morning have a blessed Sunday
Awww, thanks Valerie! You too ♥️♥️♥️
This is absolutely gorgeous. Your daughter will be proud of you. Beautiful colors. Good taste ❤❤👏👏👏
Thank you so much! She actually liked it. ♥️♥️♥️

Beautiful, as always. Out of curiosity; you apply the second coat of varnish after the first is dried?
