@Ophelia Talks yes, I will and I'm doing all my magic circle with yours! I really loved your video and I am part of your fb family, now. Have a great day
Thank you for the tutorial it was great. The small puff was too small and the large one was to much so I added another round on the smaller one with 3dc in every second stitch and it worked a treat :)
Love this!! It is perfect to do on a plane ride. And a perfect addition to the face scrubbies I’ve been making to go along with the soap I sell. Thank you for sharing this pattern. 🌸🧶
I love these, I can't wait to make cause I buy these all the time. If they do what I like I will never buy another one. LOL. I am making a basket for one of my daughters 40th bday & I am putting alittle of crochet item to use like washcloths, theses, tissue pouch, soup bags & a few other items. Thanks for this great idea.
That was fun! I’m going to try a small one, for my face.. All I have is Peaches snd Creme.. You know, kittens woukd love to play with these cute little balls,,
They are beautiful, the big one looks like a turqoise brain 😁 I love that you’re so joyful when you talk, it can be so boring if the person making the tutorial sounds too serious its so depressing 🙄😮
Please don't give up Agustina, maybe try slowing the video down in the settings at the bottom right of the video, see if it helps, good luck, keep me posted, Anja x
Thank you for the tutorial! They are lovely for sure. I wonder if cotton yarn would hold too much water when you actually use it. Is it for decoration?
If it is something that is going to get wet/soapy. I think cotton yarn is the way to go. Any acrylic/animal fibre yarn - it may dry quicker - but you might find you get soap build up and it can go mouldy or out of shape which is not what you want. Of course, you can Machine Wash it but it doesnt have the same endurance as cotton (or so i have found anyway) Cotton yarn can is more hardy and can withstand more use, is Machine washable and all round better for any sort of body or dish Washing.
After ringing as much of the water out as possible, I put it somewhere I can put a fan on it or behind something that is blowing air. Only takes a few hours to dry. Hope that helps.
There is no point in saying it was great fun when it really wasn't, I recommend you don't do the fourth round and just keep it to being a small puff!! xxx
Just found this video, how much yarn did you use on it please? Was it a 100g ball? How much on the smaller ones, Nice and easy to follow video thank you 😊😊
I'm wondering what I did wrong.... I'm new to crochet, and thought I followed this pattern exactly. Finally finished, and it's super dense (dry not even wet) and it's so compact, it looks more like a brain than the crochet poofs I'm seeing. Is it possible to crochet to tightly? I tend to knit very tightly.....
Mine turned out the same...too heavy and dense. I wish I'd used a larger hook and maybe worked 3 into every stitch or even into every alternate stitch. Don't think1 I'll be attempting another!
Ophelia: Can you use acrylic yarn to make the bath poof? I read somewhere that yarn has residue and you can remove residue by washing in baking soda or borax, also add 1/4 vinegar so color doesn't run. Should make up poof then wash before use.
When I press view hearted comment. It brings me back here but I can't see your comment. It used to come up see more comments under my name, but not lately. Did you buy your cotton yarn at the market?

These make perfect toy balls for toddlers to play with. They are easy for them to hold on to, they're light, when thrown they won't hurt.
great idea!!
Thanks for this tutorial, you are inspiring others to take up this hobby, life skill.

You are so welcome Kim! I'm doing my best to make the world a better place, stitch by stitch!! Anja x

Glad I could help you! Thank you for watching Judy at Witch Peace Craft ! Anja xxx 💕🌈
I agree. I made one using a 5mm hook and 900 stitches and it was to big as well. Thanks for the video.

Haha, what a great idea Debs! Anja x
Cool, I just figured out that manic loop and made a few puffs thanks for the video!!!
I made mine in one hour and started with 20 SC in my magic circle with four rows.
Speedy crocheting!! thanks for watching! xxx
Easy project, still working on mine but it is looking great! Thanks for sharing!
What a lovely idea. Thank you :o)
Thank you for the tutorial! They are lovely for sure. I wonder if cotton yarn would hold too much water when you actually use it. Is it for decoration?
Hi dear you are so VERY sweet. Your instructions are very easy and clear to follow. Just let me know how many rows did it do
Have a look at the video again as I can't remember by hard. Thank you for watching bani1112 chatterjee ! Anja xxx 💕🌈
I've made them, and they take too long to dry after using. It works better to use a smooth soft acrylic yarn. -Gail
Can you recommend one ?

Great idea! Thanks!
ich bin begeistert. Danke .
Thanks, and thanks for being honest about the tediousness of that fourth round! LOL
I'm wondering if the big one would sour before it dried?
There is no point in saying it was great fun when it really wasn't, I recommend you don't do the fourth round and just keep it to being a small puff!! xxx
Very nice..thanks for sharing

I enjoyed your video. I do wish you would have showed how to finish with hanger. :(
Oh Yes,
très joli est facile une idée de cadeaux
je vais le faire faire aux grand-mères de la maison de retraite ou vit ma maman
bisous
that was very useful thank you! the only thing i didn't quite understand is how you make the loop at the end
Glad it was helpful! Did you manage to make it? Thanks for watching my video Elena 11 and keep crocheting. Anja xxx💕🌈💕
i want to mske shower puff looks so easy cute
I❤❤❤it thank you
You're welcome Debbie 😊, thank you, Anja x
I made my first one yay
Love this so much i am going to watch this again just wantee to ask did you say 4 stitches in the same stitch?
yes last row is 4 in the same stitch
@@OpheliaTalks im going to go for the bigger scrubby
Could you do fewer double crochets into one from the previous row as you're working on the last row to make it a bit looser?
Do you go through both loops or just the front one?
I'm wondering what I did wrong.... I'm new to crochet, and thought I followed this pattern exactly. Finally finished, and it's super dense (dry not even wet) and it's so compact, it looks more like a brain than the crochet poofs I'm seeing.
Is it possible to crochet to tightly? I tend to knit very tightly.....
did you do the very last row too, maybe just make the smaller one and indeed, don't work too tightly ....thanks for watching xxx
You could go up in needle size, that what I did.
Mine turned out the same...too heavy and dense. I wish I'd used a larger hook and maybe worked 3 into every stitch or even into every alternate stitch. Don't think1 I'll be attempting another!
Where did you buy your yarn?
Ophelia: Can you use acrylic yarn to make the bath poof? I read somewhere that yarn has residue and you can remove residue by washing in baking soda or borax, also add 1/4 vinegar so color doesn't run. Should make up poof then wash before use.
Are counting the chain 2 as a half double crochet ?
It doesn't really matter in this case Amanda, one stitch more or less is not going to make much difference! Thank you, Anja x
Where do you buy that cotton yarn? I'm using sugar and cream.
I made one of these but I can’t get a very good lather with it. It just goes really compact and isn’t very useful. ☹️
When I press view hearted comment. It brings me back here but I can't see your comment. It used to come up see more comments under my name, but not lately. Did you buy your cotton yarn at the market?
Hook size please?
Are they a bit abrasive?
Not really, but i would not make the big one again, just stick to the small ones!! Thanks for watching! xxx
Is there a written pattern for this?
Where is princess Layla and dirk
Has anyone tried making it with tulle?
I do believe they have, but no idea what the result was.... but make the smaller one!! Thanks for your comment, much appreciated! Keep watching xxx
Cmonicab55 I was wondering how it would be for dishes and putting a round of scrubbie yarn on it?
Mine is small. I crochet tight
pattern please
Sorry, no written pattern, the video is the pattern, Anja x
my name is ophelia
That is great!! I wish mine was!! LOL
