Thank you for the explanation. Mine automatically reboots on various intervals when I'm using it, and I've tried reseting it but it still occurs regardless. (It reboots more than 20 times a day), and it's really frustrating. Do you know how i can fix it?
no need, except to ask for a refund, It happens it all their devices-routers, MiFis etc ie network comes and goes more than 30 times a day and you get logged off anytime it happens...also note that this device is slow and never 5G, Airtel's claim of having a 5G network is scam
@@kaykay1845maybe the location you live is not 5G coverage. Am from Tanzania and where I live there is no Airtel 5G coverage but my other friends live in far location and the device in operating in 5G😂. You need to be an IT to know this . Otherwise you will complain nonsense
@@SpecsNFeaturesBoss, I just got mine today. They told me that the SIM I was given can only do subscriptions starting from 20k (unlimited monthly). They however said I can use other Airtel sims in it, and will be able to subscribe lower packages and use. But they will not offer me unlimited monthly subscriptions unlike the router's SIM that came with it.

Please how do I charge only the power bank and off the router if I don’t want it to be in use? Because I was told not to charge the Smart box directly but to charge it through the power bank. So what if I want to off the router and just allow only the power bank charge? How do I do that?
I got the router 5 days ago i have use used 100gb from the free unlimited 1 month bundle and i noticed today that my download speed is now not more 1 mbps ,someone told me the true unlimited starts from the unlimited 40 can i do the unlimited 40 and roll over my free unlimited bundle without any problems?
Took me ages to figure out the fix. Even after swapping the unit I still had the restarting problem. Login to your router settings using the IP address username : admin password: admin Navigate to Device settings>Advanced Settings>Frequency Band Now at the 4G section, uncheck every Band except for Band 3 and click save. Viola, problem solved.

I like how crystal clear you always are with your reviews. Splendid job man. 💪🏽
Somehow I wish I could reach out to you personally
I have a few questions to ask 🙏🏽

You helped me understand the router better today! Thank you!
You're welcome
Can I use it with my other routers like extending it using Ethernet cables to my tender router
I'm not sure about that.
You can but you have to change the functionality to switch instead of router, to your second router

Since you've reset it, I think it's best to take it to an Airtel store
@@SpecsNFeatures okay, thank you.
Please tell me how you fixed that, if you have fixed it, I'm facing the same issue here

What's the ussi option
How to subscribe it?
Boss, can subscriptions lower than the 20k monthly work on this router?
Or is 20k sub the minimum that it can use?
There are cheaper plans but not unlimited.

So this means the sim is special. Thanks for the info.
Does it require sim card

Was it an official Airtel office?

Because I was told not to charge the Smart box directly but to charge it through the power bank.

Disconnect the power bank from the router.
Can you get 5G speed with if you are in a location where there's no 5G yet?
No. Please check the full review in the description
can i remove the simcard outside the router and use it on my phone ?
No

I don't think you can rollover. Just wait for it to expire, or switch.
@@SpecsNFeatures what do you mean switch?
not possible my own unlimited that comes with it i am still using it at the same speed 20mbps and so far i have used 410GB
I mean switch to another data plan.
@@SpecsNFeatures like non unlimited data plan right?
How can I know the power bank is fully charged?
One of the blue lights turns off
Thank you@@SpecsNFeatures
Pls how do I check balance in this router
Airtel has not provided a means for that.
I thought you will be explaining about WPS button 😂
I don't think I've ever touched that button 😂
They told me not to charge the power bank and charge the router the same time or it spoils how true?
Can't say. I charge the power bank and the router at the same time. So far so good.
How many Mbps??
The speed depends on your subscription plan, I'm currently using the 20Mbs plan which cost 20k naira the power bank last more than 5 hours
the comment above is correct. you can watch this for more info: th-cam.com/video/EKHuCopti0g/w-d-xo.html
Will i receive bonus data the first month?
Yes. Talked about that in the review th-cam.com/video/EKHuCopti0g/w-d-xo.html
Pls how can I check when my unlimited data is going to expire cus it’s not showing on Airtel app
I asked an Airtel rep and he said they haven't made a provision for that. I'll advise you to always check the date you renew.
For over 2weeks now. It keeps telling me singin required. I've reset it and still the same thing
If you have an active subscription, you may have to contact an Airtel staff.
How can I know if my Data is finished in my router
There's no way to know, just try to note the date you renewed.
i dont know why it keeps restarting my lg smart tv but if i use my other networks its fine and never restarts
That's strange, I've experienced the router restarting but not my TV.
Took me ages to figure out the fix. Even after swapping the unit I still had the restarting problem.

I think you should go to an Airtel office to fix the app issue. Or you can use the website.
What if the device is restarting on its own
Constantly?

Why is it showing connected to the WiFi but no Internet connection
Airtel has been down, but try changing the network from 4g to 5g nsa
Please why can’t I login to the page to sign up
Check the bottom of the router, your address could be different.
