@@tidybrickslandscaping Thanks for that bit of information. I have a few trowels as well but watching you butter the bricks I used the biggest one and it worked a treat .
@@trevorb6180 well I’m a Brickie of 35 years and if you think laying a 9” brick on edge on a 4” wall doesn’t need a support then you’re not a real Brickie Sorry mate but no way
Great great tips and video . Helped me immensly in particular buttering the bricks for that type of wall over one stretcher bond
Important part the buttering up keeps the joints full keeps the strength up 👍🏴

Not really it’ll still happen whatever you do 👍🏴
Need to get some Dutch pins the hold Props up 👍
Never on a brick on edge
@@kierenboimufc5940 that’s a good point I’ve got some in the van too thinking of it 🙄
@@tidybrickslandscaping ok tidy job either way
Would it not have been worth setting the lats up about 5mm above the course of bricks?
Actually yeh good point 👍🏴
Some lovely jobs on your channel. I’ve taken some inspiration 👌🏻
Why use props the brick should just sit on the wall without props no need for them
The props are being used because it’s only a 4” wall I’m building on not a double wall 👍🏴
@@tidybrickslandscaping im a brickie and they sit perfect you don't need them just trying to help make it quicker for ya
