- Running screened undersize from our gold evaluation plant to recover fine/ultra fine, sulphide concentrate.
Shaker table designed and built by Joel Farmer for testing placer and hard rock materials. Milled poly-pro deck can be set to run roughing, upgrading, and finishing. Mulitple top lines can be blocked off to send bulk concentrate to end laundering tray while free/coarse gold is sent to small insert tray for collection. (temprorary laundering trays shown in video will be replaced with molded plastic trays and discharge hoses on final product.)

Thanks Joel. I think that`s a great looking table. I bet it performs fantastic.
All 4x8 tables will proccess approximately the same volume per hour. Some manufacturers claim super high volumes but it is (of course) in their best interest to say that. This table has the same surface area and will process the same amounts.

My Father used to make those
Up to 1,000 LBS per hour - running at approx. 400 LBS per hour in this video because we were performing a test for a mining company and we needed to extract every pound of sulphide concentrate possible.
Riffles are milled down into the deck - and yes the top lines are for high grade/free gold concentrate.
How fine do the cons have to be to work on this table?

How do you deal with clay coming out of ball mill I assume thats ball mill material?

This is material that was run through a VIC - but a scew feeder helps with clay chunks (not that they get broken up, but at leaste they don't plug the feeder)
How does it match up to Global Mining Solutions RP1000 unit? I am used to 2 G.M.S. RP4 units double stacked on each other with a wet concentrate feeder on top.

How fine does it have to be inorder to work black snad of any size 50 or 60 mesh a little info if you please
+Skeets K - Screening material to -1mm allows for gold recovery down to around 400 mesh. For cleaner concentrates you would screen finer.

I like seeing these videos showing machinery doing what they do.. But would it hurt anyone just to give a little explanation about what we are looking at.
Not looking for a full depth detail speech, just a here is what you are seeing explanation.
ashcan1979 What you are seeing is a type of Wiffley table. The ore slurry is fed to the upper right end of the table. The grooves will typically get shallower as the pulp advances to the left due to the bumping action of the drive.The table also slopes down to the front and to the left. The grooves on the very top are carrying the most valuable concentrates off the end of the table to the 'cons' launder. In this case it looks like it may be fairly pure gold, could be chalcopyrite also. Nice yellow color. At the end of the field grooves, which ends slope toward the output corner of the table, would be the 'middlings'. These would be heavy minerals such as magnetite or pyrites. Off the bottom of the table would pour the tailings. These are the lighter particles like quartz that actually get washed out of the grooves by the wash water and would generally be thrown away. The middlings may be re-processed if they contain much gold, or possibly sold as a by-product if they contain another valuable mineral like copper.

Sulfides and gold on the blue area. (gold was so fine that you can't see it in the video)

This was a prototype, the production machine was greatly improved, but I've closed my manufacturing down to go mining.

Noisy and it shakes a water is being poured unevenly. How that catches fine gold is going to be hard.
