I would say buying that rifle at the beginning with the built in grinder for 35k was hitting the jackpot, no way would I sell it for less than 50k after hearing what was said about it.
The matchbox collection worth 25-28k? A 1000 pieces, of which 600 in box, and he picked out one that goes for $1500, one for $1000, one for $300, and he gives that low of an appraisal?? So the 997 remaining pieces are worth about $25 a piece, average ?? He even says; ''This collection is amazing, I mean box, condition, rarity, it has all the factors going for it... everything is pretty mint, it's a pretty complete collection'' I call BS, on the 25-28k appraisal...
What something is worth and what something will get if sold are two different things. I have bought coins on auctions that were worth $500-$600 and got them for $40. Many things factor into the sale. How hot something is, how many buyers the exact time of the auction so forth, and so on.
Those pieces shown were the cream of the crop so yes all others were a lot lower in value. Its also worth noting that this is a history show and the appraisers go on free of charge to get their faces out there. In short it benefits no one to lie about the value of things on the show, it just makes everyone look bad. They may do it when the cameras are off but you can more or less trust what they say when they are on.

My view, as a United fan since 67, is that based on the whole season, not just the one match, when Ten Hag had a plan (where was that plan all season) it is time to fire Ten Hag Now. One sunny day does not mean we had a good summer. If the rest of the summer was awful we will not say it was a good summer. There was no injury crisis in the first 6 weeks of the season when United lost 4 times in the PL away at Spurs, then away at Arsenal, home to Bournemouth and the home to Palace. There was also defeats at Bayern and to Galataseray. Ten Hag invested about 200 million in players in the summer for that awful start to the season. There have been plenty of occasions when something close to a first choice Ten Hag team has played desperately poorly and to suggest otherwise would be entirely false. Wembley was Fantastic on Saturday. However the truth is that Ratcliffe and Ineos must decide what it is they want for the future of United. If the occasional against the odds victory earned on the back of 26.5per cent possession against a genuinely top side, as occurred at Wembley on Saturday is enough for Ineos they will do nothing at United ever. If Ineos, like you and me, want more than that - if they want, as I do, and I hope you do too, a football team that can play on the front foot with its chest out and with the intention of dominating opponents and dictating games - then they will Fire Ten Hag now. I know there is a romantic feeling to stay with Ten Hag, however the truth is the good news for Ten Hag is that there is not another game to follow the Wembley win. A week after United knocked Liverpool out of the Cup they were outplayed at Brentford. A week after beating Coventry on penalties they drew at home to Burnley. This is how it has been under Ten Hag during this regressive season. Do not be fooled by the fantastic Wembley win. Throughout the season Ten Hag has produced the occasional boom followed by an equally spectacular bust. Remember 14 PL defeats, 9 at home, a negative goal difference and the worst United PL finish in their history. One sunny day does not mean we had a good summer. I hope Ineos agree with me and realize they need to Fire Ten Hag Now.
