Thank you for breaking down on the braid, I had 50 lbs and caught a river monster eel 14.32kg at 1.5m, and it snagged my line on rocks for 3 days ,luckily water dropped and it was still there.... hands down, guys with DNA
Thanks guys.Your videos are very insightful. After watching this video,I purchased 1000 yards dna braid from billmoria an I'm extremely happy with the product. Keep up the good work.
I even use it for backing on my fly reels. Not that most of the fresh water fly reels need backing here where I am, but wanted thin black backing, only black braid available it seems
Please keep it natural as you guys do 💪💪I appreciate the fact its not ultra professional and it feels like a conversation with some mates . Great topic , I have 100lb green JBD ultra tough leader it does lose its colour I cant lie about that but its tough as nails . Toughest braid we have access to in my opinion 🤞
Been using the same jdb 40lb ultratech on my gosa 14k since November. Lost its coating quite quickly after buying but didn’t affect my casting much, not great in the bricks though. Worst feeling when u feel that fish dive done and u rubbing rocks knowing you’re about to snap. Was going to go winch braid when I lose more of this line, but the dna sounds good
In really rocky conditions try a longer leader, on my 30lb setup i even go to 10m of usually 0.70mm or 0.80mm Araty. There are rock and then there are ROCKS, mono front end still best in extreme conditions
Howzit guys I appreciate the videos. I am looking at the Amia zero xh 4 piece with a Nasci 5000 and DNA. Would you say 15lb or 20lb? Spinning on the south coast Warner beach mostly.

DNA is just in another class hey💪🏻
Very interesting talk.. Personal line of choice and confidence through experience is paramount.. Thank you..
👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
100%!
You have to select the best braid for your budget!

You simply cannot fault the DNA- it is in a class of its own!
So glad you’re supporting the boys at Bilimoria❤️
@untraceablefishing I'm from kzn.
I bought online.
Excellent service.
Will definitely be buying more.
Thanks
Great. I will watch a few times over for input. Nice shirts, looked on Bilimoria straight away but didn’t see them listed. VIP edition 😂
lol- very new stock- but if you call/ message they’ll arrange for you🎣👊🏻

That’s awesome to know bud!
Yes, I also think it’s the only black since black velvet is no longer available😩

Hey Benico, I also use ultra tough as top shot. Very strong and not easy to burn off when shark fishing.
@@JTActionFishing 💯 bud. Do you slide on that though 😳
@@benico341 not really. I slide on 50 pound. 100 pound is normally for the sardine run
It’s a great braid… we love Boss and JDB. But JDB is a superior braid, with a superior price as well🤣
@@untraceablefishing yes it definitely is

The DNA is next level tough, can highly recommend

Highly recommend DNA- tough as nails!!! You won’t be sorry!

I’d say you can get away with 15 because it will break at 20 or 25👊🏻🤙🏻
Thanks man
Which braid would be best for big raggys and bronzes and lbs?
50lb is more than enough bud… you could go 65, but I’d rather say fish a stronger braided leader and have more line on your spool💪🏻
Hi guys can you guys a note test with different brands of braids and different notes
Sounds like a plan🙏🏻💪🏻
Whats the opinion on boss braid tho as its half the price of something like the DNA braid?
Hey bud
Weve done a review on boss braid- we actually fish with Boss braid🤣😉
It’s great stuff- value for money and super tough💪🏻
@untraceablefishing thanks I'll go give it a look, because I gust got the penn battle 3 10000 and I'm spooling it 50lb for sharks
@@TheSAOutdoorman I have 50lb boss slick HP on my Tesoro 20k💪🏻😉
I reckon that braid should only be off the beaches sand and rivers etc. But too expensive to use off the rocks
In some areas I agree, but a heaver leader does help, in rocky conditions I sometimes us a 10m leader, usually 0,80mm araty nylon
This is why braided leader or mono leader is important to always have👍🏻
VARIVAS PE braided line products where do I get them in South Africa.
Big brand in Oz but to my knowledge not imported locally
See there is a website that sells them (jigstar)… check it out with a google search
Appreciate all the content but difficult to follow with them constantly talking over each other and finishing the each others sentences 🎣 😂
We try, not professional TH-camrs by any means, we just like to banter
Lol it makes it more fun doing things that way. It's really not so bad and who wants stiff boring presenters😂
I guess they try🤣
They try🤣🤣
@@untraceablefishing it's natural, it's not forced or rehearsed. We enjoy it. Keep it up guys
