- The Royal Enfield Interceptor and Continental GT 650 have remained largely unchanged in the 5+ years since they were first shown. But they’ve had just about enough charm, character and value to have remained successful despite this. In that time, though, other bikes in the RE lineup have taken big steps forward, so these two haven’t really been offering the flagship experience they should. The company has now finally given them an update, throwing in a bunch of new features, but also bumping up the price.

Bro which color are you going for? I have been liking this barca blue since start but gradually i am starting to like the Mark 2 chrome edition which I didn’t like at first. Which one are you picking ?
Bro mark 2 is great too but since I have been riding classic for 9 years... I knw the pain when it get punctured. You curse the bike every second and think classic is only 190kg heavy. Mark 2 again comes with spoke wheel and I can't repeat the same mistake.
Later my wife liked this color in one glance to I finalized this.

Still wondering whether blacked out theme is better or the clean chrome finish. The black one surely is more eye catching and looks new and trendy.
I don't know I have never liked chrome before but after watching some chrome BMW bikes, may be i started liking chrome.
I just wish I don't regret it later
I want it to look more concealed like the continental GT Mr Clean edition by making the red line running below the tank disappear. Also if it will fit my budget, get silver or chrome mudguards. I am feeling like my taste is getting old firstly with wanting a retro bike like this and then going for all chrome look

You need to install after market gear position sensor and that's all you actually need on this bike.
If instrument cluster could get a update then this bike would be awesome.
Yes, we know that it is e20 ready but problem is e20 fuel may damage the engine(certain components)in the long run, which will be a problem. Also, normal petrol will replace by e20. So, only option is higher octane fuel.
Any particular explanation behind E20 damaging the engine?
@@NitishNeo One of the primary concerns with using E20 fuel relates to its corrosive properties. Also, Ethanol can corrode certain materials within an engine, such as rubber seals, gaskets and plastic components. In addition, ethanol tends to absorb water more quickly than gasoline does which can lead to rusting issues over time. Finally, if too much ethanol is used in a vehicle’s fuel system it can cause clogging which could lead to engine failure or other problems.

If you are looking for an actual upgrade then it would be interceptor.

Hi sir i am new to ur channel and this was my first video that i clicked on which was from ur channel i absolutely loved the way u explained and everything seriously 10/10 ❤ Gained a Sub as well! I just wanted to ask u like i am 18 and my dad is buying me a bike and like i started off with a himalayan bs4 version and i am quite into bikes i love riding and stuff so its like i dont like anything under 350cc category and personally in my family KTM ke liye its a no and the option to which i am left is interceptor or the speed 400 because budget is not the issue.. my main use would be college and sat and sun morning rides with friends like zaydaa highway usage nhi hoga coz i feel i am not ready for it yet i've been on rides too like 45km one side its just that i need some time to get adjusted with the motorcycle and honestly i love the interceptor it connects well and makes me emotional too i just wanted to know that what average i will get and like should i buy it as a one time investment bike for daily college use parties and weekend rides and breakfast and stuff like i dont wanna go above 120 or something just enjoy the ride with the punch it has can u help me with the average as average is not the isssue also only like my friends own and they get around 23 which is fine as the 400cc category bikes also give that bro please reply i would be waiting thank u so much ❤

Looking at your requirement’s I would say Speed 400 is more suitable. You will get introduced to the premiumness of triumph with this. You can then later one move on to bigger triumph motorcycles.

Actually i would prefer the speed 400 because of the looks like it would fit in my age category as well but in like terms of average it will be the same right as triumph claims 29 right and like i like to stretch on empty straight roads and then i ride normally so i feel ki avg wise agar same hi hai sirf price main pharak hai so might as well buy the interceptor only na isiley and like i love it soo much na seriously 47ps ka power its too good plus 650cc crazyy hoha
i booked the same model 4 months ago. Yet to receive it. Have others got it delivered?
No the waiting period is long for alloy wheels and Mark 2
I booked Black Ray in mid july, tentative delivery date is by the end of october, support team tells me further delay by at least 2 weeks. That leaves me doubtful. I plan to wait till Nov, if by then get positive update for scrambler 650 would cancel booking for interceptor.

Long term maintenance cost will trouble you on interceptor. Plus engine heat, below 20kmpl mileage and many more
You should test ride both bikes and decide. There is no market feedback for the Speed 400 as it has not hit the roads yet.

It vibrates at 85-90
Hunter is a value for money motorcycle. However if you are looking for a smooth ride at higher speeds then I wouldn’t recommend you that.

Made in India hai, kitni he sahi hogi, woblling issue, heating issue, rear pillion sitting issue, front foot rest issue, inaccurate fuel guage, inaccurate tires, its with hell lot of issues kya karen made in india jo hai, bye the way live with this machine with issues

@@palashroy5072 yes dear faced all these issues with dis machine only it has top notch twin cylinder engine that's all and I sold this machine and purchased inline 4 cylinder Honda CB 650cc and I m very happy with it thanks 👍 Honda providing me this
RE is providing touring seat for Interceptor 650 which is quite comfortable to sit on

RE should really look into the fuel gauge its really bad...plus it would be amazing if it only had gear indicator and maybe bluetooth connectivity. Not asking for too much features

Interceptor 650 just because I like it more than Continental 650s design. Since you asked me a question apart from comfort.
Also interceptor is easier to move around in city. That’s what I felt.

@@parthdalviboth will rust butin the blacked out parts it won’t be noticeable in the beginning when rusting is faint. Also i think the black paint slows down rusting for a bit but after few years it does rust if it gets wet frequently or you’re not cleaning the mud regularl

Better go for speed 400, it's practical bike. And price is also very reasonable

Unfortunately, the answer is no as of now.
Is RE giving all the colours in alloy wheel varient or just two new colours available in the alloy wheel version
Only these 2 new colours.. however you have an option to update.
No there's no option to upgrade the OEM alloy for now, I checked at showroom yesterday.

Sir, Myself 50 yrs old, riding Himalayan. Does long trips ( avg700 kms one way)every two months. Wanna upgrade my bike since my co riders ride Versys 650.since I cannot afford for a Versys I have the interceptor in my choice. What would be the safest maximum speed in this bike with perfect road stability and braking? My co riders they cruise between 130 and 150 on their Versys on the highway with ease.
You should be able to hit 120s easily on this
You can easily cruise in 140 without any vibrations….
If you are comfortable with ktm. Try ktm 390 adventure.
